Had an amazing time celebrating my 50th birthday on the enchanted Italy tour. Every detail was taken care of. From our tour manager, Lorena Galli to the tour guides, I can tell Gate1 hires only the best. The hotels were lovely and situated in the hearts of the city we visited. Just amazing.

I've been on four trips with Gate1 and all have been fantastic. I was a bit nervous at first because of the reviews I will be honest, but I was even more impressed how professionally and timely they handled our minor transfer issue on our last trip. Our driver did not show up to take us to the airport so we took a taxi. I saved my receipts immediately contacted Gate1, and were able to refund me in full with no issues. I love Gate1, we've been on five trips with this company and enjoyed every moment of every experience with them. Our accommodations have always been excellent, and the food is always delicious and the guides knowledgeable. We have met so many good people on every trip, I can't wait to go on another Gate 1 adventure. Gate 1 did a great tour of Peru, until the Hurricane created a snag. After that it was 4 days of phone calls and rearranging reservations. It took me 4 different customer service representatives until someone would actually help us get back home. Gate 1 and Latam Airline just kept blaming each other while meanwhile our tour director left and we were stuck in Lima. Just returned from the 15 day Portugal and Spain trip. Had the best trip ever, two beautiful and amazing countries. Rui Miguel our tour director was fabulous. So intelligent ,funny. .He made the trip unforgettable . Will travel with Gate One again. Gate One again
OK, so a friend and I were traveling to NY to catch a flight to the UK for vacation. Due to hurricane Nate, we missed our flight. #VirginAtlantic was willing to change flight for $300, but Gate1travel got involved and screwed us Spoke to Shruti (24 hour emergency contact) at 630am and conferenced her in with the #VirginAtlantic rep who had to school Shruti on how to handle the account. Just returned from 15 day Spain and Portugal . Had an wonderful vacation . Two absolutely beautiful countries . Tour Director Rui Miguel was the best , intelligent , funny a wealth of knowledge , I learned more about the two countries in 15 days then I would have ever learned in a world history class .
