I've taken 5 trips with Gate 1 and loved them all!!!!
We just came back from 17 days in China and Hong Kong. Our tour manager "Stone" was fantastic he made our tour exceptional. He was always up beat and had a great sense of humor. His knowledge was remarkable, but of course he is from china. Stone's English was very good. We are extremely impressed with Gate 1 that we have made reservations again this time to Iceland.
I haven't even left for my trip yet and it's not starting off good. I bought through a groupon in august just got itenarary and I'm book for landing in Iceland at 6:15 getting to my hotel by 7:30-8:00 and can't check in until 4pm with a northern lights tour at 7 pm so I have to roam around Reykjavik for 8-10 hours after being on overnight flight. I traveled with Gate 1 travel to Italy 9/9/17 to 9 22 17 they did an AWESOME JOB. Will be recommending them to everyone who wants to travel. I have not one complaint the hotels all four were clean and very comfortable. The tour guides were very knowledgeable on every thing.
The 16 day Scotland/Ireland trip was wonderful. Food, hotels, traveling companions, were all great. Kudos to Felicity and Brian for the professional job that they did!!!!!!!!! We just returned from a week in Amsterdam, Belgium and Paris. We had a wonderful week and so many good memories. We had a fun group but who made it the best was our guide, Arjan. He was very knowledgeable, fluent in every language we encountered and took great care of us. Our airport transports and tours were flawless. This was our third trip through Gate 1 and we would definitely use them again.

I have been on several trips with Gate 1 and have never been disappointed until now. I am currently on the trip to Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, and Slovenia. You booked 40 people on this trip and that is too many for one guide. You have never had more than 27 on my previous trips. I'll start with the bus driver. All of my previous drivers helped people off the bus. This is a very important task to keep people from getting injured on your watch. If they want a tip at the end, they need to earn it. I just came back from Perú. I did the short 4 day's tour. I would recommed more day's since you will be traveling on 2 of those day's to and from your destination. I was lucky enough that a lot people cancel due to the hurricane or missed their flight's because we went from originally being 24 to only being 7 of us which made the experience that much better.
