Juan Farfan and Augusto were wonderful guides. Juan called us his family and that is what it felt like the entire time. They looked after us and shared so much of their culture. Both Juan and Augusto were born in Peru. We so enjoyed our adventure! PachaMama!!!

Hi gate1, I booked a flight with your organization from Kathmandu to Amsterdam. I want to check in one extra bag on my flight home. If I try to do this online, I'm requested to contact the local agency in Kathmandu. They said it will cost 900 USD to check in an extra bag. I think you agree with me that this is a crazy amount of money for a bag of 20 kg. I hope you can help me to find a way to solve this problem. Thank you!

Just finished Eleven Days Enchanting Italy with Gate 1. Francesco was our Tour Manager and he made this a fantastic tour experience! This was our second Gate 1 tour and we plan to use Gate 1 again!
We just returned from a Gate 1 trip to Scotland, 10 day classic. We had a terrible experience with the nasty bully tour guide. His name is Paul Fisher. We do not recommend anybody take this tour to Scotland with this tour guide, if you do not want to have an unpleasant experience. Just returned from our tour of Croatia, Slovenia and Venice. It was wonderful. Transportation was great, our tour guides were so well informed, friendly, helpful we felt like family. Visits to special historic sites were packed with interesting information, glad I kept a diary, I would never remember it all. Hotels were really nice, clean and had great views. Even our 2 1/2 hour stop at the Montenegro border turned into a party on the bus. This was our first Gate 1 tour and I hope there will be more.
We were very impressed with their efficiency and professionalism. Always on time, very pleasant, and their accommodations such as buses and ferry services we're beyond our expectations. Very luxurious transportation means.
Had a wonderful visit to Italia! Our wonderful event coordinator Letizia took us around several towns and beautiful countryside. The bus was very comfortable and hotels from decent to exquisite. The expert guides at each stop were knowledgeable and engaging. Hard to believe I saw so much in the 7 days together group was together. The memories will last a lifetime.
