I have taken at least one Gate 1 trip a year for the past 10 years or so starting with Croatia, which I highly recommend. No matter what trip we took we had a blast, good food, good folks, fabulous guides, great locations, even greater prices. Not sure if Thailand or our recent Sicily trip was our favorite. Any suggestions anyone for an upcoming mid October trip 2017?
We used Gate 1 for our trip to Thailand; our first group tour experience. We absolutely LOVED our guide, Ya; his knowledge and love for his country made our trip 2x better. Good meals, nice hotels, nice staff. Good experience for sure!
18 days with a group of 30+ amazing (!) people and best of all...our tour group leader: Lift. We were in Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. Lift was informative, hysterically funny, caring and flexible. I am now a true Gate 1 convert. I never, ever thought I would enjoy an organized group tour. How wrong I was. Can't wait for our next adventure.
I just got back from an 8 day tour in Israel, and loved every minute of it! The sightseeing that was included was all worth seeing and enjoyable, and as I only did one of the optional tours (Masada, and it was amazing) I still had plenty of down time to see what i wanted to see that wasn't included. Our tour guide, Sid was the best!
I had an amazing 8day trip to Morocco our guide was wonderful, the hotels were great and it was a worry free trip!
Getting ready for my third trip with gate 1. Our trips to China and Israel exceeded expectations. The combination of price and quality make these trips a great value.
We just came back from our 8th adventure with Gate1- this trip was Cuba(awesome!) & in June we're going to Scandinavia! I truly have nothing but good to say about them. Great accommodations, awesome tour guides & managers,ect... We've started mostly doing the small group tours because we can go places that a larger group couldnt( 30-40 people would never fit into a poseado in Cuba- we'd have missed some wonderful meals & people)& we also get to know our fellow travelers better!
