We are finishing up with our South America tour and we just loved it!!!���� Had so much fun! The counties we visited were amazing!! The accommodations were great! I didn't feel like we were on tour with a discount company as all of our rooms and meals were great! We have traveled with gate 1 several times and we will travel with them again!
Used Gate 1 twice now and everything went smooth. Unfortunately I am having problems with them now getting travel docs just 14 days before my trip. I have called 3 times now. Was promised docs 21 days prior to departure. Don't like waiting until the last minute to plan an overseas trip. Very unprofessional.
Best trip to Iceland I could ever wish for! Perfect in every way. The accommodations, Food and Tour guides all were A1. Our Northern Lights Tour Guides had experience and skill at chasing the lights, they drove us out to places that where clear skies amongst all the clouds and BINGO...we actually saw amazing lights on both nights of our tour, they say we got lucky but it helped to have a pro at the helm! Thank you Gate1. I definitely will book with you again!
I took 2 trips with Gate 1 Travel but I will never travel with them again. We paid $298 in travel insurance in case my wife got pregnant before our trip. When we purchased the travel insurance, we told Gate 1 that is exactly why we were getting the insurance. We provided Gate 1 with three months notice to find a replacement traveler and yet Gate 1 denied our claim. There are plenty of great travel group options. Just came back from our Gate 1 trip to Thailand! What a great experience! Gate 1 met all of our needs plus more! Kit, our guide, was nothing less than exceptional, made sure she was available at all times and went above and beyond the call of duty! Gate 1 is top notch! We have purchased 2 trips from Gate 1 now, one to Ecuador and one to Italy. Both of our trips were excellent from beginning to end, with knowledgeable local guides who are passionate about their cities, and terrific customer service. Our hotels were clean and wonderful as well. Cannot say enough about our wonderful Gate 1 vacations.

My fiance and I recently returned from our 8-day trip to Italy. It was the most memorable experience we have ever had and we had the best time of our lives.
