Just back from 13 day Classic Thailand. Amazing adventure.....so much more than the written planned itinerary. Extraordinary accommodation...and a stellar guide...'Anil'. **we booked 3 extra excursions that all were worth it..... Grand Palace, Thai Massage (at a lovely spa), Long neck tribe visit...and we took the spur of the moment opportunity to cross the border into Burma for $40.
I recently got back from the express trip to Machu Picchu with Gate 1 and I only have great things to say about Gate 1. We were scheduled to fly into JFK the same day that a nor'easter was supposed to hit. Our flights were understandably cancelled and we were "stranded" in Peru. Our tour guide, Carlos, coordinated with the agent at the airline desk and shared with us the options provided by the airline. We booked the 8 day Tuscany trip in Italy being very skeptical because the price was so cheap. We talked to numerous people that told us that there was no way possible that it was going to be that cheap and that we had been scammed. Just returned from a 9 day Tour of Italy that included Venice, Florence and Rome. The tour guides in each city were amazing. Special thanks to Marianna, Cindy and Simone. They were not only informative but also passionate. They took their time to answer any questions we had. I highly recommend Gate 1 Travel. Will definitely go back!!

We just used Gate 1 for a trip to Tuscany. It was a non-escorted trip and went flawless. Their communication was fantastic. The hotels and rental car and airline were completely prepared with our reservations. I would highly recommend Gate 1 Travel!
