If you get Ahwen as your China Tour Manager you've struck gold. He's the best ever, anywhere!
Our tour "manager" was the worst. He was un organized, dissheveled, couldnt complete a full thought, mean, in your way while walking off the coach, forgetful, wouldn't take any good advice from anyone. He had bad hygiene close to the end of the two week tour. I had gotten motion sick while sitting in the back and needed to sit in front and he suggested I move back a few seats for rotation even though 85% of the time noone sat there anyways. Thailand trip 3 years ago was perfect the best trip I have ever taken. I would love to take another trip with you guys next year but your down payments have increased. I have 8 people that would like to travel too but a down payment of one full ticket is just too much.
I have been traveling with Gate1 for several years and it just keeps getting better. Recently we took the 11 day Southern Italy Puglia Compagna and Sorrento tour. It was one of our best experiences. This area is not frequented by tourists and we found the local people to be so warm and friendly. Getting ready to head home from Costa Rica, my first trip with Gate 1. Our tour guid Riccardo was fabulous. He shared his love and knowledge of his country. The trip was perfectly time, and lots of opportunities for all interests. Can't wait to do another trip with Gate 1. Thank you Riccardo for a great 2 weeks.

Great experience . Knowledgeable tour guides, they really try to show you as much as they can within the time you are there. We spent 11 days in Italy and were not disappointed. Would use them again for another destination.
