I started a transaction with one of the dealorships and had selected a home. The only issue was finding a land parcel which I was working on with a realtor. We have nothing but problems. Started land/home purchase with them and Vanderbuilt on 3/24/18. We still don't have a our house on a foundation. We closed on 11/29/18. We were told that they needed a check from corporate for our building permit that is why no construct being done. Then second week of January told they sent in with permit. I have never been more disappointed in my life. DO NOT buy with Clayton or Freedom homes. They did NOTHING in time what so ever and the quality of work is a JOKE we are still find places they half completed. I wouldn't refer anyone to them whatsoever!
DO NOT PURCHASE A HOME FROM CLAYTON/ BUCCANEER/ CAV HOMES!!! Poorest customer service i've ever experienced in my 54 years of life! I have no idea why they get an A+ rating when they have the worst customer service ever. My husband and I recently purchased a home from Clayton Homes (aka SE Homes, aka CMH Homes, Inc.), and have had a poor to fair experience with customer service, product quality, and resolution/repairs. I would not recommend purchasing a Clayton Home at all. We ordered our new Abigail model home in June 2018. It was delivered in August 2018. In August of 2013 my fiance and I purchased a brand new Jefferson from a place just outside of Jackson, Tennessee. Our home arrived at our property on October 23, 2013. And we moved in around the 1st week in November. The nightmare started almost immediately after the arrival of the house at our property. It was never finished on the inside. First off my house failed the county inspection and the bank inspection. SECU said they would never do business with them again. Brand new house that leaks around the chimney due to the fact they've been informed 6 times to fix it. The maintenance crew cut 4 large staples out of my vinyl floor and glued it back down that is now coming up. Insulation is stuck in the vents that I remove daily. Cabinet doors that don't shut.
