I purchased my ******* home in in December 2017. It was delivered in February 2018, the warranty expired and now I have issues in the master bathroom shower. The floor shifts and I can feel and hear cracking when I move around the shower. You can see the floor move through the shower pan. Do NOT buy a home from these people! We are building through the Mesa, AZ office. We started our process in Feb 2019 and still waiting to close on our our house yet today 1/7/20. On top of it we caught them padding an extra 20K into our sales prices for items that were NEVER completed or even needed to be done. Our loan had already been underwritten and approved so we had to go back through the process and force them to correct the sales price. Very slow process of getting a double wide setup if i could do it over i would have a house built. I thought picking out a double wide in February I could be in by thanksgiving but will not be in by Christmas and have to tell my we can't do a holiday at our house again. There is several things not the way i wanted would strongly recommend against going with Clayton homes

This company is horrendous. I have been paying on this place since 2008 I pay every 2 weeks. I was 2 days late on payment they reported to credit report "foreclosure initiated" If you need a home don't fall for their game. Tell everyone you know they will take advantage of you. And if you have them watch them like a hawk.

I wish I could give no stars. I'm coming up on two years in my house and still arguing about the repairs. The windows and doors have leaked since day one and still aren't fixed. The trim and flooring around the door and windows are destroyed. I have missing trim, mismatched paint, cracking walls, torn tile, bad outside paint job, and loose shingles. I have lived in the home I bought from them six months I have about 30 defects in home they have sent three contractors out and nothing has been done and what little work they did is worse now than before they started

I would leave 0 stars. They did not take care of us. It was lies upon lies. We have a home unfit for our kids. It's so sad that we thought we were getting a home for our family to keep out elements. However, it leaks. They won't fix it. Its moldy and it is a brand new home. It doesn't stay warm or cool. They are so dishonest. Please do not buy a home from this company. They will not give you a home suitable for you or your family.

I purchased a home from Clayton in Decatur, Al. and everyone from the salesperson to the set up crew! Everything went as planned, and I moved in when they were finished. I had some very minor things, but they came out and not only fixed what I found, but other items I had missed. I recommend Clayton in Decatur to anyone looking for a new home.
