We purchased a 140,000 mobile home Classic. It has the poorest quality of anything I have ever seen. Oak wood Homes in Lexington, SC will not send anyone out to make repairs. They are worse than a 1. Do not buy one of these pieces of junk.

I bought a Clayton/Norris home in March 2020 only to find it riddled with poor workmanship, cheap moldings and faucets and shower heads and no support from the seller in MIddlesboro, Kentucky. I have asked for help and have received none and have even been threatened by Gary the sales manager at Clayton in Middlesboro, Kentucky.. This is what I get for being 63, disabled and paying cash for a home.

It's just one thing after another dealing with Clayton of Pelham Alabama. To get someone out here to fix anything is absurd.... It's been a month, and still no one has shown up to fix my shower leaking water out the side of it. *it has already been caulked once mind you!* I've had my custom built home less then 7 months and more and more stuff keeps happening... Hooked a washer up today and it doesn't even drain out the hole it's suppose too outside.. I went under my home too find two leaks...... This is just absurd the half... read more

Absolutely a Joke of a company, at least here in the Reno Carson City Area. The home was to be done in August, then November, then February, now heading into April. When talking with the staff in Mound house NV. all you can get is the runaround. and no answer most of the time all they say is the contractor is busy. Would love to upload pictures of the work. First, the well was installed in the drive they had five acres and it is in the driveway, the home has been sitting on the foundation for 3 weeks with no work being done.... read more

Cashed our check after we didn't get approved. Gave us a receipt with hold on it but our financing fell through. Which they knew that last week and still put our check through on the 25th of March. Why would you take our $1000 deposit check and cash it knowing that there is no land to survey at all that's what the money was supposed to be for.
This company has absolutely no customer service after the sale. They have a history with me and apparently of sell homes that the warranty doesn't cover the work needed to repair and they avoid taking any responsibility for poor quality workmanship on their part. This company should be prevented from selling homes to the most vulnerable parts of our society

One star is too much! Poor quality, less than 5 years old & ceilings falling in, floors falling & bubbling, cabinet doors crumbling off hinges in the first year, windows & doors leak, drywall cracked in every direction, plumbing stinks! $8,000 to rid the NEW HOME of black mold at 3 years old. Customer service is about as bad as the home. Paid close to $150,000. Appraised to sell at $42,000 at 3 years! CROOKS!

I would give them ZERO stars !! This has been a ridiculously awful process . I would NOT recommend buying a home from them!! We used Tru value home in Alexandria Al and Clayton Savannah build the home . We took months to look at and pick out a home with barely any help from our salesman. Asked Him to suggest homes in our price that might fit our needs and never got any suggestions. Was told many homes we wanted was out of our price range but in the end the final cost of our home , we could've got others we liked much better ... read more
