Keep Looking FVOP is an alright place to live and I think alright is maybe even pushing it. I’ve lived here for almost 2 years and my lease is up this summer and I couldn’t be more excited to move on from this property. Floods, Car Broken into, & poor management First of all, I NEVER leave bad reviews. I enjoyed many years at Fountain View, but they have tested my patience several times. Many of the employees are very nice & doing their best. However, they have a bad manager. Just average Great location. Too expensive. Walls are super thin, so you can hear everything. The actual apartments are poorly built. Staff is good at responding quickly to requests, but I disliked my stay here. It claims to have tons of security but I have seen their patrol unit sitting in front of their office for hours not doing anything. As well as the gates are open half the time and I see homeless people walking around and into the garages.

Look Elsewhere Incredibly overpriced for this facility. All of their efforts go into beautifying the outside and model apartments rather than fixing up the units that people actually live in, with cheap materials, poor craftsmanship, and old appliances throughout. The gym and pool area are nothing like the photos on the site, with equipment falling apart and management neglecting requests to fix any issues. The parking garages are very sketchy to navigate, with no mirrors to aid in getting around the blind turns. The worst p... read more

HORRIBLE Do not live here if you like to have friends over for a casual business evening. Tonight this apartment towed 2 of my friends when they were clearly already parked in the VERY limited “guest” parking spots. In order to have even 4 friends over you have to go down to the clubhouse to get parking passes and tonight they were all out of passes. Management and Maintenance We are generally unhappy with our two year stay and wouldn't do it again. An ongoing dispute over parking has led us to just finally leave. We were without water in our kitchen for a week over the winter, and maintenance took several weeks to repair an external door. Communication to residents seems to be an ongoing issue.

Should've believed the others FVOP was my first apartment when I moved to KC. The few positive things I can say are that the pool is great, but that's only when it's not closed; the covered parking is a nice option; and maintenance responds quickly. I have had no issues with the fixes they have done in our unit. Other than that, you would be better off spending your money elsewhere. In the 8 months that I have lived here, there has been ongoing construction for at least half of that time. This means constant noise, removal o... read more
