I was feeling very ill due to an infection, and I called First Choice Emergency Room and they were so quick to see me. I did not have to wait, and the paperwork was very easy to fill out. The people behind the desk were patient and very flexible. When I got back into the rooms, the nurses were very fast-paced and took down my information very efficiently. When I fell and injured my knee and wrist, I visited First Choice Emergency Room instead of a hospital ER. I was examined within 10 minutes of arrival. The facilities were new and clean. The staff (from receptionist to the doctor) was friendly and efficient. I was x-rayed on site, and results were read by a radiologist within 15 minutes. I was treated by Dr. Van Roekel and released in just over an hour. My family will definitely return there if another emergency arises. We were out of town and away from our regular doctor, so when my 2 year-old son developed croup we brought him to First Choice. The staff were friendly, helpful, and we were in and out in less than 45 minutes! They evaluated him quickly, gave him a steroid treatment mixed with apple juice (at other places he was forced to drink it straight and it was horrible). They gave him the minimum treatment, and did not over-prescribe medication, which I was very glad of because steroids can have unpleasant side effects. The room was c... read more

I went to First Choice in the Arboretum area after dislocating and fracturing a toe in an accident. The doctor and staff were great. I immediately got excellent attention. The doctor fixed the problem and referred me to an orthopedic doctor who after looking at the x-rays told me everything looked great. This could not have gone any better. Thanks First Choice.
Went in with chronic back pain and they didn't treat it like it was inferior or like I was wasting there time. Everyone was nice, helpful, caring and showed actual concern. Highly recommended

I was seen there after being in a MVA and basically suffering in pain all day. I tried to get into my PCP, who couldn't fit me in so I took a chance on this place rather than waiting forever at a hospital ER. Absolutely the BEST decision I could have made! All the staff was great and quick. When you are in serious pain fast is always a nice plus but accuracy and a friendly staff is just as important too. While I hope to not need to go back if I need emergency care this is the place to go!!
