two guys showed up and spent most of the time talking back and forth. One seemed like he knew what he was doing and the other seemed to be the leader, but didn't seems to know much.
Business response:
Steve had a pressure switch issue that wasn't setting an error code, thus it took a few minutes longer to definitively diagnose. He was in a bad mode all the time on site. When you're cold and in a bad mood, you shouldn't project your anger onto the person that is trying to help you out.
They are quick to respond, troubleshoot and fix the problem. They are also very strange and unprofessional. They assessed our furnace, found the problem, charged $90 for something that took 20 minutes. Then without agreement purchased the parts and without an appointment showed up at our house to install it. We asked them to quote us a price for the parts and labor, but they didn't and said that prices change daily so they couldn't (not true). Very assertive. And the service tech does not stop talking.
Business response:
$89 is for the trip charge and for the first 1 to 15 minutes to diagnose the problem. I called ahead to install the parts. Was assertive about the part prices so they wouldn't misunderstand. And had to keep talking because they were asking many, many non-stop questions
Very efficient and friendly service man. Made a temporary fix (it was Saturday) and came back on Monday with the new part and quickly got the furnace working. Also the price was right.
Business response:
Obviously a very savvy and knowledgeable homeowner.
They came out when they said they would and fixed the problem- needed more refrigerant in my A/C. They didn't try to sell me what I didn't need - explained choices in refrigerant. Gave a rough estimate on eventual furnace/A/C replacement. The service man was extremely nice but very talkative about other things unrelated to heating/cooling but did also converse at length about that- which was educational. He did not charge me for the longer conversation just a flat charge for service call (not by the hour), which was good. So... read more
They called back quickly, came right out, diagnosed and fixed the problem for about what most charge to simply come out and tell you that you have a problem. Even gave some tips on how to get best efficiency from the unit. Great folks.
Quick scheduling, great experience in filling refrigerant in our A/C system
They are very friendly and the money was less than the other major companies. They also responded a lot quicker than the other companies that were busy. We were without a A/C the night before and another company promised to fix it. They never showed and I called fire and ice and they came out first thing the next morning.
Good experience overall, very fair price wise.
