They get 1 star for calling and showing up the same day. My gas furnace was acting up, I called and they came out, great, so I think. George blows out the plugged tube and charges me $159.00...the furnace starts up and George leaves. The very next day, the furnace isn't working! George says it's going to cost me ANOTHER $159 to come out and look at the problem...(the EXACT SAME PROBLEM you were supposed to diagnose and fix yesterday George!!) When we recommend a new furnace, because it's ridiculous to repair their existing furnace, then generally I write "work not guaranteed, because this furnace needs to be replaced". The problem is exactly what happened to Gary, the next day there was another issue. He could have easily called another service provider--if he couldn't get ahold of us.
We hired this company to install a gas line to convert from an electric to natural gas cooktop. The first technician was a no-show the first day. The second day he arrived and installed the line but my husband noticed a hissing sound and said it sounded like a leak. The tech. agreed and supposedly fixed the leak. The next day we arrived home after work to a very strong smell of gas. NW Natural gas came and shut off our gas. No heat that night. He stated there was a leak at the furnace fitting. Good communication, quick service, got the job done professionally and at a decent price.
They came out from Portland within 3 hours on a holiday Sunday (Monday was President's holiday) while we were under snow threat. Their customer service was outstanding and their repairman George quickly repaired the furnace. They really prevented a bad situation because we had abnormally cold temperatures.
Great service. Prompt and professional.
