Recently purchased a new Subaru from the Farrish Subaru dealership located on 10407fairfax blvd, The dealership made a promise to replace the seats to leather-seats and door panel to match the seats at the purchase of the car. This was made very clear during our 6 hour negotiation from 9am-3pm as we reviewed other vehicles with the same interior set-up. Brought in a 2014 Subaru for a 60K service. Was quote $1800 which seemed high but I agreed. Had a call with them the next day in which they suggested several hundred dollars of additional services on top of the rather high price originally quoted. Regrettably, I agreed. Came to pick up the car and was told they had just detected the need for MORE work ($3.5K more). How could they not have seen this and alerted me sooner! I love the people at Tonkin Subaru! I've brought my car in a number of times now and have always gotten top notch customer service. I moved out here from a big city and had some concerns about the quality of service in a smaller town, but I could not have been more wrong. I get better service at Tonkin than I ever did before!
