Absolute worst customer service. They only communicate with the complaint department via e-mail. State they will get back to you within 30 days - they do not. They state they take my complaint seriously, and no one follows up so obviously they do not. I have e-mailed them several times since September and have not heard from them. HORRIBLE insurance company! they couldnt help me get into my own account. Account managers have no access to IT and cant get you into their system
WORST eye plan ever!! Their benefits are pennies.... it's cheaper not to have this coverage!! Customer sevice reps don't know their program or system to give you correct info when you call, as their website is worthless. I reused two frames I had from previous glasses that were in excellent condition - and my frames for both cost $168. Their reimbursement was $25!! Shame on EyeMed!!

I purchased a plan that allows me to receive glasses and frames EVERY YEAR. In January, I tried to get new glasses, but EyeMed told me I had to wait until July, one full calendar year since I last got glasses. I waited until October and tried again to get glasses. This time EyeMed told me that because I used to be on a two-year plan, they would not cover glasses until two full years after my previous eyeglass purchase. I am on a one-year plan now. The absolute worst, might as well not even have coverage. Just go to ******* or ****** the parent company Luxottica for yourself, I don't have to say anymore than that, you'll see for yourself.
Adding my 1 star reveiw to the pile. My employer uses this company. The first and only time I tried to use the vision screening benefit my eye provider said Myeyemed would not reimburse them for a vision-only screening despite what the Myeyemed employee had told me that very day. I called to complain and was given wrong info. I called to complain again and was given wrong info again. EyeMed is a joke. They cover so little even when you visit one of their in-network doctors. We did go to one of their in-network eye centers and the people that worked their were incompetent and extremely difficult to deal with. When I called EyeMed for assistance, their representative told me the eye center had overcharged me. The rep was transferring to a specialist and I got discounted.
