could not be worse. Moronic, lame answers from ambivalent CSRs after getting dragged through a **phone tree to dead ends. GREAT JOB!!! And no satisfaction. Little value here and what is there is degraded by the terrible customer service. Looks like ****may have dropped them and now partner with VSP. Smart. Very smart.

With EyeMed insurance, my supposed in-network copay for an eye exam is $10, yet I ended up paying something like $165.00 for my exam, due to "added fees." If you read the fine print, these added fees are not included in the vision coverage. I find it is cheaper to go to *******an out-of-network provider, and get the measly $40.00 reimbursement from Eyemed for out-of-network care. On top of this, EyeMed customer service is terrible. Had to claim to be reimbursed for ****** contacts. First the app didn't work then the website didn't work. Then I emailed in the claim. They rejected it I wasn't notified and they didn't tell me why until after I called three times. Sent many emails saying please reply to this email or I will fail you on the survey. They sent me tons of surveys. It's been 6 weeks and I haven't been reimbursed.

Website login does not work. Try the contact us form... which does not work. No phone numbers listed whatsoever. No way to rectify situation. Million dollar companies making us have to struggle to even access our benefits. Ridiculous.

Awful customer service and coverage. If you run out of contacts, you have to get along without seeing until 12 months to the date to get them filled.

Horrible customer service. Frustrating and confusing automated phone service. It was almost impossible to reach a live agent, and when I did, they lacked knowledge and adequate information. Huge time waste.

I require medically necessary lenses, and without them I'm blind. I've had the same prescription & lenses for 5 years in a row. This year, EyeMed denied my insurance claim saying I'd exceeded my benefits, yet couldn't say when or how. The only claim I make is the once a year lenses claim same time every 12 months. And they didn't provide any communication when denying the claim, I had to phone the optician to find out from them that EyeMed was not approving the claim, then i had to phone EyeMed and spend 30 minutes on the ph... read more

Good luck trying to even make an account; you'll be permanently stuck on a loading screen. If you try to contact customer support by email, I wish you further good luck; because once you fill out the support request form and click "submit" nothing will happen. It is obvious they've outsourced their website design/development to incompetent overseas "companies" to fatten their (likely already overinflated) margins. Worst customer service I have experienced. I have been with *** for decades and first time with this crappy provider. The idiot lady (Brittany) that I have been in cellphone chat is the worst unprofessional customer service personnel you can find. So EyeMed Vision Care, here's to you. Your insurance company and customer service ......*****!!!!!!!!!!
