These people, from the nurses to the schedulers, are the most professional staff I have ever encountered! I was transferred to Emory from Alabama for a serious problem & I am so thankful that is where I ended up!
What a terrible hospital! Not only do they not treat you like an individual patient they will also charge you an arm and a leg for something simple. I met with a doctor for a consultation that usually costs me $100, but not at Emory. I got charged $450 and then an additional $450 facility fee just because they are Emory and they think they can do whatever they want. Great doctors liver transplant 2013
Absolute fail when giving care to my grandmother. I have never felt more scared to have a loved one in another persons care - especially a ‘world-renowned magnet’ hospital. The only reason she is still alive (but at home on hospice) is because our entire family is medical. The nurses and doctors failed her. She was admitted with an elevated ammonia level and liver disease. She arrived alert and oriented but quickly was unable to take medications by mouth and became lethargic. I just recently had a liver transplant and the care I received while I was there was amazing! From the surgeons and doctors to the nurses I couldn't have been taken better care of during my 25 days there! A huge thanks to everyone at Emory and I know my journey will continue to go great.
Amazing nurses Great Doctors Pleasant inpatient stay I have been fortunate to get the required treatment and after 4 years I am finally in remission. I am a high risk cancer patient so managing my condition is of paramount importance and I put my trust in the Emory staff to perform this challenge. Awesome doctors and Staff. Everyone does a great job of what their suppose 2 be doing and don't give up on anyone or anything. I couldn't ask for a better Hospital when it came to any major problems.
