I hate it here I’ve been here since Tuesday and I really see it’s about the money and not my health . Once I leave here I’ll never come back and be seen here again .

My mom posted this today: Today, I was a reluctant guest at Emory John’s Creek Emergency. I was seen by Ten different professionals. I checked in around 11:30 am. The person that checked me in was efficient with a caring attitude. I waited only 10 minutes before going into the first area. Again, another caring health care professional. After taking my vitals she walked me to my room. Next I met a lovely nurse. She was with me off and on for the next 3 or 4 hours. Then an X-ray technician. Again, so pleasant. Keep in mind tha... read more

In dealing with my father’s illness and passing Emory University Hospital Midtown has provided the most unsympathetic, useless, careless service that could be provided. From the very start the doctors and nurses were NEVER on the same page. How insensitive is it to give someone’s family horrible service when they are on their death bed. When I went to see my father on 7-17-2020 he didn’t even have on a gown and there are other things I won’t say to respect his memory. To top that I still have not gotten his property and no o... read more

I called needing a quick out of the box verification letter that my children are registered patients on Emory’s letterhead and also their name and date of birth for The Social Security Office for a replacement card. The SS office will accept that as a form of identity verification. Quick and easy right? I understand this isn’t a straight medical request but helping a patient. They flat out refused and said to go get records from the school. So much for hometown customer service and thinking outside of the box to help someone... read more

Hello Mary, we are sorry to hear this. We have shared this review with our Office of Patient & Family Advocacy dedicated to responding to complaints related to medical care and services. Thank you

I just had hernia surgery yesterday and wanted you to know what an excellent staff you have. The man in patient registration was upbeat, Violet who took my information was a true joy, Andy who was the pre-op nurse was fantastic and answered all my questions. Can’t remember the after care nurse but she was also fantastic. Of course, the anesthesiologists and Dr Patel who I hope worked a miracle on me. During such a crazy time everyone was pleasant, calm and caring. You have an excellent staff you should be proud of.

Seems like Emory has a lot of racist employees. :(
