Emory is an awesome hospital, the one negative is trying to call in patients meals.I have been on the phone on hold since 7:10 am and its 8:35 now. Totally ridiculous having to wait that long to order. They need more people answering phones.!!!! I am not a happy camper this morning!
I had an aneurysm rupture in my brain. Dr. Daniel Barrow and his staff were amazing and saved my life. I was in the hospital for almost 3 months and the doctors and staff made me and my family as comfortable as possible the entire time I was there.
My sister in law has cancer and certain doctors and emory rehab pretty much want to leave her to die. She came out off rehab worse than when she went in. They gave her meds they were told make her have altered mental status..then wouldn't give her therapy because she felt bad..then released her saying there was nothing they could do for her and she would never get any better. The note that was left on the board was from me questioning why the white compression stockings that are worn with blood clots were not put on him. The... read more
NO! Do NOT go to their ER. It’s a disaster. Arrived at 1:00 pm family member nearly fainted during routine eye exam. Ended up after many “tests” still at the ER at 11:00 pm!!!! You figure those hours 🤔Never got to her room until after midnight😡🤨 shameful PR and “teams”/staff were handcuffed to tests after tests after tests. A very horrible, sad place🧐
My husband arrived with the flu and a brain bleed and then developed pneumonia. He was a very sick man and could have easily passed away. We had an awesome staff on the D Wing ICU; every one from reception, nurses, techs, social workers and of course the doctors were A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. I could easily call any of them my friend. I have no doubt that prayers for these folks (and my husband and myself) were answered. Emory staff are very well trained medically. Plus bed-side manners and courtesy were always in place. We live 60 mil... read more
