Get better nurses for the 9th floor & make them do their JOBS! My husband had brain surgery 3 weeks ago & the nurses he has had most of them will not do their job & my husband has wanted to come home supposedly they can not find a home health place to take him on. I want to brag on Emory hospital. while there the staff and the physicians were both professional and friendly. I highly recommend this hospital. Thank Emory university hospital
Emory Healthcare does not accept Tricare Prime and that is unfortunate. I've had doctors join them, physical therapy places join them and I can no longer go to them. It's sad that Emory does not take Tricare Prime leaving out a majority of military families in the area. I guess I was lucky that Piedmont won out to merge with Henry Medical because then I wouldn't even have a hospital to go to.
Had my open heart there Nov.2nd 2001 New mitral valve still ticking well. Thanks to John Puskus and Emory University Staff. LOVE Y'ALL
The very best hospital in Atlanta the staff is wonderful! The food is excellent and the staff has the patient’s needs as their primary focus. Five Stars from Raymond Patton who is a patient.
Went with a friend to the ER for suspected kidney stones. She was there about an hour before even being asked if she was in pain. It was about 2 hours before anything was given. She was there for 5 hours and pain was never adequately controlled. She was also never given fluids, which is considered pretty standard for stones or crystals in the kidneys.
