I am an angry mother. My daughter had a 4 hour surgery and was supposed to have more pain meds but because of a glitch in the system she is laying in her bed writhing in pain and crying and I have asked for these for hours!!! I could have done better taking her home. Pitiful.
The cardiovascular / cardio thoracic team at Emory are top of the top. Dr Babaliardos and Dr Grubb are amazing. My 83 y/o mother has mitral valve replacement and was out of the hospital in 2 days. God bless their hands and God bless all the nurses, techs and all staff.
This place has been a nightmare. I have been trying to get a prescription refill for 3 weeks to no avail. The experience with Emory is water under the bridge. Very very unprofessional at Emory and will never recommend nor go to Emory again.
The nurses & providers that took care of me last night were excellent! Very attentive and genuinely concerned with my well being. In the future if need be, Emory will be my go to. Thank again from the bottom of my heart to everyone that saw me in the Emergency Department. God bless you all

I was brought in by paramedics last night to the ER with chest pain. I was shocked when paramedics got a wheelchair and put me in waiting room. Three hours (around 1am) later I was finally taken to a room. Nobody came in the room for an hour after I was out in Room. After a few tests and a brief visit by doctor I was told I was going to observation room. More tests and a visit from my doctor over next four hours. (I was on 2nd floor in PDU unit).
