Dr Alvarez is a very nice and professional dentist. I had wisdom tooth extraction and root canal, and post and crown, a rather complicated process, but I had a pleasant experience at his clinic. Dr Alvarez is caring every detail and he is a perfectionist, trying to make the result the best. I find the treatment is very ideal and the pain is completely gone. Really appreciate what Dr. Alvarez and his staff have done.
There are absolutely no words to describe Dr. Alvarez. I love him and I believe he was heaven sent. I have always been afraid of the dentist, which led me to not seeing one for years. After spending 10 minutes in the office I knew I had found my dentist for life. He is so friendly, gentle,caring, and honest. Highly recommended. He's caring and skilled. I am very happy with my front crown which was made in his office in one visit and came out great! He's a very talented dentist as well as being an intellegent, gentle and lovely person.
I have always been very afraid of the dentist and when I learned that a chipped tooth I had neglected for about 10 years had initiated severe decay below the bone and required not only gum surgery but a dental on-lay, I was extremely concerned about the length, pain and result of the procedure. Hmm..it seems like its been said by everyone else...but I just wanted to add my recommendation as well. After years of treatments which "didn't take" - and having to have work done every time I went - I've finally found a dentist that I totally trust and really like (both as a physician and as a person) . I am very happy with Dr. Alvarez & highly recommend him if you need a dentist, are concerned about your teeth, or want someone who uses new technologies. He filled my first 2 cavities & it was done without anesthetics & with less damage to my wallet than expected. After going to the dentist regularly, I was bad for 3 years while working long days. I recommend Dr. Alvarez very highly. He has been rated the best cosmetic dental surgeon in the entire city of Manhattan for good reason. His work is second to none and his painless laser techniques and overall gentle nature make a visit to his office a pleasure.
Dr. Alvarez is one of the few medical professionals I have ever met that is not only superb at what he does but is kind, takes time to discuss procedures, makes himself readily available in emergencies and offers multiples solutions to problems with full disclosure about each solution. In short, not matter what problem I've ever had, Dr. Alvarez has worked with me to solve it. He is a fantastic person and professional.
Dr Alvarez is the dentist-of-the-future, but you can get an appointment with him right now! First off, I hate going to the dentist. I have TMJ, so holding my mouth open for any stretch of time is terribly painful. Other dentists I've been to never really tried to help with my TMJ and the hygienists didn't care about my discomfort durning their bloody and jawbreaking cleanings.
