I can't recommend Dr. Alvarez highly enough. I contacted him a month before my wedding to replace two veneers that were darker than the surrounding teeth, and also for teeth whitening. Dr. Alvarez met with me early in the morning to discuss options and got started a week later. He was great about explaining options, but also giving opinions. I highly, highly recommend Dr. Alvarez. I had been going to the same family dentist my entire life and was extremely incredulous that I would ever find another dentist that made me feel as comfortable and at ease during my visit. Dr. Alvarez has not only met my expectations, his warm staff and wonderful bedside manner made me eager to return!!
I have been seeing Dr. Alvarez regularly for the past several years. He has more than once stayed late or come in early to treat a sudden problem. He is constantly updating his skills, and investigates all the cutting-edge technologies in his field. I am impressed with his volunteer work in Latin American villages. Dr. Alvarez is fantastic. I went in for all over whitening and bonding replacement on my front tooth. I had never been satisfied with work done by other dentists. As the bonding on my front tooth is so prominent the imperfections of past work (wrong color, discoloration, shape etc.) were always very obvious and kept me from feeling comfortable smiling. I whole-heartedly agree with other comments that Dr.Alvarez practices very up-to-date dentistry, painless laser, relaxing atmosphere, detailed explanation of procedures, and willingness to stretch out payments. More importantly for me though has been the attention he focuses on care of my gums. Dr. Alvarez is the only specialist I see for any medical problem that I can recommend wholeheartedly. He is extremely well informed on the latest dental technological advances and has the good judgment to use the ones that provide the most benefit to his patients. He is clear in his explanations of what he is doing and open and enthusiastic in answering questions . Dr. Alvarez is very nice and caring. He goes out of his way to make you comfortable. Everyone in his office is courteous. I've been going to him for over 3 years for routine stuff, fillings, x-rays, cleanings.
Dr. Alvarez and his team provide excellent dental care. Every step from scheduling to the visit itself and then after visit follow-up is well-managed. The care itself includes a high degree of technological support including fully electronic dental history, before and after pictures and waterlase expertise. Questions are answered in a detailed and patient way. I recommend Dr. Alvarez without reservation.
