I've seen Dr. Alvarez three times now, and he is a thorough and knowledgable dentist. He makes the visit a pleasant one, and does everything possible for your comfort. The cavity filling was a breeze! I would recommend him for everyone. He is definitely the best dentist I've experienced.
Dr. Alvarez is an excellent and knowlegeable doctor. He has treated me for gum disease as well as replaced a filling that was old and had partially fallen out. He was extremely gentle in all my treatment. With respect to the fill in, he was great in removing the rest of the fill in (not a fun process generally) and used lazer which I was skeptical of. No pain and no problems. I highly recommend him to everyone for all dental needs.
Fantastic!! I fly all the way from England to use Dr Alvarez. I had a root canal usually a very painful experience however it was painless and very comfortable. very reasonably priced. overall great service. james huddleston
If you want great service and comfortable dental care, then Dr. Alvarez is your dentist. He'll know you personally by name after one treatment and his waterlase care is painless and stressfree. Any questions that you might have will be answered with patience and he'll make sure you understand everything that is going on at all times. Highly recommended!
I have read the other reviews and am not surprised by the raves and I am happy to add my own. Dr. Alvarez has not done implants or cosmetic work on my teeth, but he has done perhaps five crowns, including two replacements, plus two resin restorations. But who's counting. Everything came out perfect -- and here is an example of why: When I first met Dr Alvarez, he had taken over my former dentist's practice and I was in the middle of a crown procedure. A large bonding on one of my upper front teeth broke off one night. Dr. Alvarez returned the page, ascertained that there was no immediate risk to the tooth, and agreed to see me in his office the next day, which was supposed to have been a day off for him. He fitted me for a porcelain crown, and also gave me a temporary bonding for the time it would take to have the porcelain made -- without any complaint about losing a day off or not having staff in the office. Let me start by saying, I use to have a very genuine anxiety brought on by the mere mention of the dentist. Dr. Alvarez has eliminated that fear which began close to 30 years ago when I had 8 teeth extracted at one time. Thanks to Dr. Alvarez, I can now smile like a normal person. What a relief. As the result of an accident, my two front teeth were dead and dark. I had veneers put on by my former dentist, which was a real mistake. They looked awful -- bulky, blue-ish, totally fake. I never smiled. Everyone thought I was a real grump. I came to know Dr. Alvarez as a circumstance (he acquired her practice) of the retirement of my long-time dentist. Having a lot to live up to, Dr. Alvarez has met every expectation: the office remains a very pleasant environment; the staff is a delight; his treatment procedures and equipment are cutting edge; he's affordable; and is both extremely prompt (a must for busy working adults) and very flexible (I missed an appointment recently and was forgiven for that oversight - and NOT charged a fee).
