BEWARE BEWARE: consider this apt only if you want the following: complete lack of air conditioning and apt staff intentionally trying to deceive residents and con them into paying additional electricity expenses because they will not admit to defective equipment; multiple attempts by staff to illegally enter apartments; after multiple maintenance requests faulty appliances remain in disrepair; upon moving in expect horrible insect infestation; complete lack of routine maintenance and upkeep; apts are not cleaned nor painted ... read more

With them came a brand new, award-winning office staff and maintenance team. Since then, every building got fresh paint and a new roof. DO NOT MOVE HERE I have lived here for two years and have nothing but problems. The apartments are older and they refuse to fix things unless they absolutely have to. My electric bill is $200 a month in the summer because the air conditioner needs to be replaced. They don't care. I was unable to spend a day in my apartment because of glue fumes while they were working in the apartment below me and they gave me no warning even though they knew the fumes would travel. Office staff is awful The office people are rude and never communicate. Repairs are never done in a timely fashion, when appliances are broken they replace them with old used almost-as-broken models rather than fixing them or replacing them with good appliances, and now there has been no running water all day and apparently won't be any til god knows when, and they didn't inform us it wouldn't be fixed today until AFTER the office closed so they wouldn't have to worry about actually talking to their residents. Renter Beware, Dont move here! The office staff are very rude and lie about issues just to get you off the phone. Maintenance staff is slow to fix anything and I caught one of the Maintenance staff looking in my things! I have had issues with old appliances needing to be fixed and replaced only to be blindsided with excuses and rudeness. A major appliance even smoked and sparked and they still refused to replace it until i had to threaten to call a lawyer. Please do yourself a favor stay away from Governors Point!

Governor point Raleigh NC Very nice place no apartments for rent , but very nice place.
Governors Point This happens to be my first apartment it's very spacious with a good floor plan. The neighborhood is quiet and in a good area. The maintenance however is not good at all I've been waiting over a month for simple things to be fixed. I also think some remodeling could be done and appliance update the refrigerator and exhaustion vent is very outdated. The office associates are very nice and friendly so I would give my place of residence a 3 out of 5 stars.

JUST SURVIVING We have lived here at this address at Governors point for 2 years. In the south, pools open on memorial day as a rule. In the past three summers this has yet to happen. They can not keep maintenance help for a variety of reasons; as a result, it takes forever to get anything fixed. We once waited 2 months to get 1 of 2 toilets snaked out so it would flush.
