Biggest rooms I've seen in Gatlinburg. They are always updating the property so it doesn't feel dated like most of the hotels. The new hot tubs are much bigger so that helps with the crowds. Love the location as well. Would highly recommend to anyone but especially those with kids. The only reason I didn't give it a five star is because the breakfast is pitiful. My gravy was like water and the biscuits hard as bricks. Don't plan on eating there unless you are going to eat cereal.

Great place to stay they treat you like you where family
Hot tub, pool, comfortable mattress, very polite personel, clean but the parking spaces are close
This is an OKAY hotel. Beds are of moderate comfort if you like more firm beds. I padded my side with 4 pillows to sleep on. The hotel is older but staff was prompt when issues arose. Heat didn’t work had to be switched with different heating unit. Fridge didn’t work-were told some switch off after 96 hrs so had to reset. Hot tubs were nice, but one was TOO hot....like boiling. I probably won’t stay here again, but it was moderately priced so I feel we got what we paid for. 6/10
Staff are all so nice. Rooms are very nice and clean Beds are comfortable, kids loved the pool. Hot tub was nice. Our balcony overlooked the city which we loved. We was in walking distance of everything on the main strip in Gatlinburg. Breakfast was good. We loved sitting on the balcony every morning watching the ducks and the geese in the little pigeon river. Parking spaces could be a little bigger, they are a VERY TIGHT FIT. Other than that, everything was great. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again!
We stay here 3 to 4 times a year and love it. It’s not a 5 star hotel but super clean and friendly staff. The location couldn’t be more perfect!
I've stayed at Edgewater multiple times over the years! It's one of the best hotels in Gatlinburg!!! Literally a short walk from the strip! Very clean & very courteous staff!!! We've tried other hotels in the area & nothing compared to Edgewater!!! We stay every year & can't wait to see you in the fall!!!
Very clean and nice hotel staff and rooms
I really like the location and comfort of this hotel. However, parking is a challenge! Parking spots are a little tight to begin with, so with people parking on or a little over the line, it removes a place to park. If you park early, it’s not a problem but if you go to a night show in Pigeon Forge, you may not find one. The elevators are constantly in use. Sometimes you’ll wait for a while, especially if you’re on a top floor. The breakfast is very basic and not very tasty. Sounds like I hate the place but I always stay her... read more
They care nothing about the one precious resource the mountains have to offer...the beautiful bears. This motel does not have bear proof trash cans and bears are seen on a regular basis eating from their trash cans. Everyone knows a fed bear will eventually be a bear that is killed because of selfish, uncaring people.
