Dr B replaced both of my hips in 2019. Excellent; when my L Knee needed replacement, I never considered any other Doc bc he is GOOD, straightfwd, frank and has strict presurgery requirements for patients that I learn to respect. My Knee is healing excellent. I had jokingly recommended that he initial or tattoo his patients with a BBB (for Body By Bugbee..lol)I'm seriously thinking about tattoting this on my Body! One of the best surgeons to ever do it. Dr. Bugbee did a cartilage replacement along with bone graph on my knee when I was 16 years old, today at 43 years old I am still able to live a great quality of life. This knee has lasted me well over 20 years.
Did a bilateral knee replacement and was very nervous about it. But Dr. Bugbee and his staff and the crew in Post-Op at Scripps Green were amazing. So glad I went with this group.

I am a former Olympic and professional volleyball player and had my right hip replaced by Dr. Bugbee on May 6, 2024. I am now 3 months post-op and doing great. So much so that my only concern is knowing how much I should or shouldn't be pushing myself as I return to my active lifestyle. Dr. Bugbee is a true pro and his entire staff was courteous, respectful and accommodating.
I had a right total knee replacement in February 2024. The procedure went very smoothly. He and his staff are very kind and compassionate and were always very quick to answer my messages.
Dr Bugbee replaced both of my knees and I am one year post op. He was great!! The procedures went well and his team was wonderful during my recovery. I recommend him highly and feel fortunate to be his patient. He also has very good bedside manner and is very caring
Dr. Bugbee has a philosphy of getting his patients back to the activities they miss because of severe arthritis of the knees. He felt I could get back to playing ice hockey, unlike many surgeons who would not instill that confidence. And after just six months of recovery I am back playing ice hockey at a fairly high amatuer level.
