Pre-surgery preparation, surgery, post-surgery recovery all good. Dr. Bugbee and his team are top notch.
I had heard nothing but great things about Dr. Bugbee. I watched an interview with him and knew he was the doctor I wanted to do my knee replacement. From the initial interviews with him throughout the surgery, post surgery and followup Dr. Bugbee and his staff/team have been nothing but wonderful and responsive. I definitely highly recommend him for anyone who wants one of the best working on them!!!
He is kind and caring and listens to your concerns. Have GREAT results from total left hip replacement and total right knee replacement!!!Would highly recommend him!!!
Pre knee replacement surgery I explained to Dr. Bugbee and his staff that I already had a slight difference in leg length, and was seriously concerned about the knee replacement making my leg even longer. I was assured a number of times that there would absolutely be no difference in my leg length. It was a long recovery for me, and when I started to walk, I was limping heavily, crippled. Surgery was a great success . The team is very experienced and efficient and Made me feel comfortable at all times. Dr Bugbee knows what he is doing. I feel much better than before, 3 months after the surgery.

I had both of my knees replaced 3 weeks ago yesterday. I’m amazed at how well I’m doing and how much I can do so quickly! Thank you to Dr Bugbee and his team; they are incredible! I can’t believe I struggled with pain & walking for over 20 years and, within 12 hours of my surgery, I could actually stand up straight and walk with my walker with very little pain!Thank you to Dr Bugbee and his team for what they did for me!I definitely would recommend them to anyone with bad knees!

Good preparation for total knee replacement and good follow up with regular care instructions and progressing exercises.
Dr. Bugbee understands the patient's goals and strives to help them achieve them. I am playing adult baseball at the age of 69 after having two replacements performed.
From my first visit I felt confident that I was in excellent hands. Boths knees have been replaced now and I am pain free. Still in PT but know with time I'll be doing everything. Had a great experience with Dr. Bugbee, his staff and Scripps Green Hospital. Don't wait, it has improved my life tenfold.
