I have always felt comfortable with expressing any concern or questions with Dr. Zannikos before and after surgery. Surgery went great. His staff is always so kind and comforting. I tell all my friends and family this is the place to come to.

I recently saw Dr. Zannikos for my 2 year FU. Very positive experience with this office and doctor. The first thing that stands out in my memory is that Dr. Zannikos was very patient and cautious about proceeding with surgery on the first visit. He listened about all my various pains. I had chronic neck and shoulder blade pain. He recommended physical therapy first, and then steroid injections with Dr. Sullivan. I had spinal stenosis and Dr. Zannikos took the time to explain where my problem areas were and how he could help me. He performed my surgery and now free of all pain. Excellent Dr.

This doctor spent only a few minutes with me. He did not make connections with my symptoms but told me I may need to see someone in the very distant future. Had he spent a few more minutes with me and been thorough (I had an EMG, MRI and X-rays for him) I could have been treated properly. I am now suffering with irreversible nerve and muscle damage that could have been treated. My hand will continue to lose function that will never return. Beyond frustrated and devastated!

A+ for Dr. Zannikos. Two successful spinal surgeries 5 years apart. So grateful for his expertise and skill. Terrible pain was relieved immediately upon both surguries, microdisce tomy and later a fusion. Would not hesitate to recommend him.

My neurologist referred me to Dr. Zannikos after discovering a herniated disc in my neck. I was extremely happy with him and his staff. He spent as much time as I needed with me and I was not rushed. He is very personable and answers all questions. I felt at ease with him when it came time for my surgery; Once the surgery was completed my pain was gone and I can walk normally again with no pain or weakness in my arms or legs. Wonderful! He performed both an emergency microdiscectomy and a fusion at L5S1. I feel fabulous a year and a half after the latter. He has amazing bedside manners and is very personable. I cannot more highly recommend him.

I have seen Dr. Zannikos on and off for many years for a variety of upper back and neck issues. I have had two surgeries with him, and I cannot speak highly enough of his competency, genuine concern for the patient, and overall professionalism. I recommend him all the time to any friends who have back and neck issues.

Dr. Zannikos performed a microdiscectomy on L4/L5 and L5/S1. The surgery was a success in my opinion, and I haven't realized all of the benefits yet considering I'm only 4 months out of surgery. Most important was how thorough, patient and kind Dr. Zannikos was and continues to be. He took time to answer all of my questions, which many specialists do not.
