Dr Zannikos is a fantastic surgeon. I highly recommend him. 4 stars due to His office staff. Very disappointing. They don't make you feel at ease like they should. Messages are not passed along in a timely manner to Doctor. If you need a prescription refill, forget it. Would seem everyone is an addict in their minds.
Dr. Zannikos and his staff have always been very professional and helpful on every single of my visits and phone calls. My surgery went very well thanks to the excellent surgery he did on my disc at L5-S1. Recovery was as he explained to me before surgery. I am grateful to him for the pain relief and I highly recommend him to anyone that needs disc surgery. cindy
I could not have asked for a more knowledgable and skilled surgeon than Dr Zannikos. My cervical disc replacement surgery involving C5-C6 and the removal of a large disc herniation was handled perfectly by Dr Zannikos and his incredible team.
Since 2019, my husband began having issues with walking and balance. After several months of therapy an mri was ordered which showed spinal compression of C3-4 and C4-5. We were recommended to Dr. Zannikos which resulted in the need for surgery to relieve pressure on the spinal cord. Procedure was performed on Dec 2020 without incident and my husband went home the morning after. Dr. Zannikos at Orthopedics New England is a very caring and skilled surgeon. My L5 collapsed and moved forward on my S1 due to old fractures from high school football. This progressed over time and I was in pain 24/7. Dr Sullivan recommended for me to see Dr. Zannikos and it was the best thing that could have happened to me. After minimally invasive spinal fusion surgery to join the two bones together, I was walking the same day and home by noon the next day. I had two discectomy and laminectomy surgeries with another Doctor and was referred to Dr. Zannikos by my primary care doctor because of persistent leg and back pain. From the beginning, I was pleased with his manner and character and felt at ease. I had my fusion surgery (L4-L5) in late 2020. The whole experience was magnificent and far exceeded what I expected. Dr. Zannikos performed surgery on me almost a month ago to remove a cyst pressing against my nerves in my low back. The pressure from the cyst was causing consant severe and debilitating shooting pain down my behind and through my foot. Dr. Zannikos did an outstanding job of removing the cyst, and had me up and around within hours, and taking short walks within days. His professionalism and demeanor gave me both confidence and comfort, going into and recovering from the operation.
My husband and I are very pleased with Dr. Zannikos. Very professional and compassionate. I had fusion in January 2020, hubby had a laminectomy in September 2020. I wish that we had found him years ago. God bless
