I chose Dr Zannikos after 2 other consultations. He performed a less invasive L4-5 fusion for my problem and I was extremely pleased with its success. He was a good listener, very precise in his review of my problems and took time explaining the surgery and recovery to me. He was very patient to answer all of my questions before during and after the surgery. His entire staff were very professional. I finally feel that I am back to being myself after 2 years of leg pain. The results of the my laminectomy surgery were great. Couldn’t walk a block without pain prior and within 7 days I was able to walk 2 miles. Very upfront about what to expect from surgery and results have been life changing for me. Easy to communicate with doctor as well.

I recommend Dr. Zannikos to everyone that has low back or neck problems. Dr. Zannikos performed lumbar spinal fusion surgery on me almost 2 years ago. I never had any problems or setbacks. I did fall on my back a couple of months ago and I went back to make sure the surgery was not damaged. Dr. Zannikos and his staff were so kind and concerned. After x-rays and a checkup, my back proved to be ok. I am so very pleased with the excellent work and caring manner of Dr. Zannikos and his staff.

There are no words that can explain how much Dr Zannikos has helped me with my back situation. He is very very caring, he speaks to you from a patient perspective, and has nothing but the best interest in making you better whether it's through surgery or otherwise. I have 100% trust everything Dr Zannikos says and I'm so glad to have been referred to him! Thank you for everything!

Dr. Zannikos is a superb doctor and a caring human being. I had microdiscectomy surgery after which my leg pain completely went away. I did however have issues with nausea with the pain medication I was talking after surgery. I spoke to him personally on a Friday afternoon and he made a few changes. He then called me twice (once on Saturday and then again on Sunday) , without me calling, to see how I was doing. His follow up was beyond expected and very appreciated!

Dr. Zannikos is very upfront and has always been very straightforward with me about my spinal problems and his care before and after surgery. He does not push you to make your choices the choice is yours if you want the surgery or not. He explains everything in very simple easy to understand terms.

Dr Zannikos was recommended to me by one of my neighbors who was suffering with similar back and leg pain as I was and had great relief of pain after surgery. he convinced me to see him and I immediately I felt comfortable with him and his calming demeanor. All my questions were patiently answered and after years of physical therapy and injections I finally decided to go ahead with a lateral fusion and screws. I am almost 9 months from surgery and I feel the best I have in years. Very grateful!
