I picked Dr. Zannikos because he was recommended by a friend. After meeting with him and discussing treatment options for a pinched nerve in my neck, I was positive that Dr. Zannikos was the right person for my surgery. Doctor Zannikos was thoroughly professional, explained my urgent microdiscectomy procedure, why it was necessary ("footdrop"), what to expect and explained any potential future complications. Was willing to add my surgery to an already busy day for him. Staff members were professional with a caring attitude. Overall great experience at a bad time.

During my first office consultation with Dr Zannikos I was very apprehensive until he very calmly went through the surgical procedure and recovery that was needed. He is one of the most amiable doctors I have encountered. Dr Zannikos does not leave you with unanswered questions and does not rush you. I arrived at Newton Wellesley Hospital and needed emergency surgery due to a spinal infection that spread there from an infected cut on my knee. Dr. Zannikos and his team took great care of me. I really owe them my life. I was in bad shape and received excellent care. Very skilled surgeon and surgical team at Newton Wellesley. I cant thank you enough.

I highly recommend Dr. Zannikos Having had reason to use his services 3 times (2 lumbar discs, and a cervical disc replacement), I have great trust in him. I appreciate his ability to convey to me explanations of procedures that I can understand! He takes time to answer my questions, he's compassionate and understanding of my concerns. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Zannikos to friends and family!

Dr. Zannikos is very professional and patient. He took the time to explain the ACDF surgery to myself &family. He was genuinely concerned about my well being. He answered questions & was not in a rush to get out of my toom. He explained the procedure afterwards and explained what was done. I would highly recommend Dr. Zannikos.

Dr. Zannikos is very professional but also very human and really cares about his patients. He gave me excellent care when I went in for a lumbar spinal fusion. I would recommend Dr. Zannikos to anyone who wants the very best medical care.

He crippled me.... I was an athletic person playing tennis, hiking, Tae Kwon do, gold etc... now I don,t walk normally, I can,t stand up straight, i,I, in excruciating pain all the time... run run run away
