Did an MUA/frozen shoulder release when I came in for shoulder instability which only led to much more of an issue that I am still trying to amend with exercise therapy. Partly my fault for choosing to believe surgery was ever a good idea for it but I did not expect to get it made deliberately looser and cut apart.

My right hip looked like mashed potatoes on the X-ray, could barely walk w a cane for almost 4 months. Dr. Rockett gave me a sense of calm because I have never been operated on before as a 63 year old. The operation took place at the Natick Surgical Ctr (5 stars) and started at 8:30AM then after some PT and a walk I was back home at 5PM on Cape Cod. Dr Rockett is a superior surgeon and I’m thankful my General practitioner recommended him to me. I was driving after 8 days and it’s now been two months and I’m walking perfectly... read more

I had a herniated disc at C6 that was compressing my spinal cord. Dr. Zannikos took time to explain to me the procedure that I'd need and answered my questions. Dr. Zannikos is thoughtful in his responses, articulate and kind. He not only visited me in the PACU post-surgery, but also in my room the evening of surgery and the following morning. I highly recommend him.

My experience with Dr. Zannikos was truly excellent. I had been treated elsewhere for pain but my injections worked for less time every time I had them. It became clear that I needed a more permanent solution. I was able to schedule an appointment with Dr. Zannikos who recommended a minimally invasive fusion at L5-S1. He met with me several times before surgery to answer questions and was available after surgery to provide reassurances that the operation went well and my recovery was on schedule. Sarah his physician assistan... read more

Dr. Zannikos was recommended by a friend who had had back surgery done by Dr. Zannikos about 12 months prior to mine. My interaction with Dr. Zannikos met with the expectations set by my friend and was I very pleased with his communication and explanations. My microdiscectomy was done at the surgical center in Natick, which was a plus as I wanted to avoid the hospital at all costs during COVID. Surgery was uneventful with a complete reduction of the leg pain I was experiencing, and I walked out of the surgical center 2 hours... read more

My hip replacement procedure went perfectly - from the initial preparation through surgery and post-operative care.

After years of increasing leg and back pain, several rounds of physical therapy and injections, I consulted several surgeons, all of whom recommended L4-L5 fusion. I chose Dr. Zannikos because he listened carefully, his office answered phone calls promptly, has access via electronic medical messaging, and explained his surgery clearly and thoughtfully. He also suggested a minimally invasive fusion (TLIF) which would require minimal hospital stay at most and was even possible to go home the same day if cleared by the therapis... read more

Dr. Zannikos was excellent. I was at the point that my arms and hands had no strength. I had difficulty even lifting my grandchildren up because my arms could not handle the weight. Dr. Zannikos changed everything with my ACDF C4-C7 with a lovely plate and screws. My pain level is essentially down to zero i can play and hold my grandkids without my hands shaking. I can even drive safely now after not being able to for almost 6 months prior surgery. His commitment to making my surgery a success is very much appreciated. Thank... read more

Dr. Rockett repaired the rotator cuff in my left shoulder which was torn in a bad fall three months earlier. During the surgery, Dr. Rockett discovered torn cartilege and a bone spur which he also repaired. Four months after the surgery, the results have been excellent. I'm still getting PT to strengthen the muscles, and expect to soon be back to doing regular push-ups. The three months of elapsed time between the injury and the surgery occurred because the emergency room doctor and later my PCP told me that the shoulder wou... read more
