I had a great experience with Dr. Zannikos. Everything went smoothly and my recovery after a minimally invasive L4-L5 TLIF is going faster than expected. I highly recommend Dr. Zannikos

I had a previous lumbar fusion that did not work and I needed it revised.. this was a rather complicated surgery and Dr. Zannikos was able to complete the surgery minimally invasive...something a surgeon with less skill or experience would not have been able to do. I had no complications and my recovery time was very fast. Dr. Zannikos also took time to make sure all of my questions about the surgery and post-surgery expectations were answered which alleviated my anxiety a great deal. Dr. Zannikos office staff are wonderful ... read more

Performed a difficult surgery that literally saved my ability to walk. I have total trust in his medical decisions and surgery skills. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs surgery.

Dr. Zannikos immediately made me feel comfortable, demonstrating great knowledge about my problem and how to fix it. Most importantly, he was able to convey that information to me in a meaningful, concise, and often humorous manner. Since it was my first major surgery, I needed that extra boost of doctor/patient communication. My cervical fusion (c4-c7) and my recovery went well, and as far as I am concerned the operation was a huge success.

i was playing tennis, hiking, paddleboarding etc and he did a fusion on me and now my legs are weak and numb, i,m in extreme pain, he caused flat back syndrome and PJK. Now i can,t do ANY of the things i used to and have to take morphine just to walk my dogs. I can,t stand up straight and am hunched over like an old lady. I,m in pain ALL the time... HE RUINED MY LIFE.

Dr. Zannikos and his office did all the work for my L4-L5 TLIF. Basically all I had to do was show up at the appointed times for my office appointments and the surgery. His office handled all of the scheduling, medicines, prescriptions and my questions. They made it very easy for me to understand the exact situation at all times. He made my recovery and follow up equally as simple. Some pain, of course. But I knew very well what to expect. There were no surprises.

Dr. Zannikos is wonderful. He is very comforting when explaining the procedure he is going to perform. The moment I came out of surgery he spoke to my wife reassuring her that all went well. His bedside manner and sense of humor is great. He was there with us prior to the surgery and after the surgery. I would recommend him to anyone needing spine surgery.

I picked Dr. Zannikos because he was recommended by a friend. After meeting with him and discussing treatment options for a pinched nerve in my neck, I was positive that Dr. Zannikos was the right person for my surgery. Dr. Zannikos has a wonderful bedside manner. He explained everything to me in a way that I could understand and I never felt like he was talking down to me. My C5-C6 cervical disc replacement was completed with a small incision and I was home the same day! I had no real pain other than some neck discomfort fo... read more

Doctor Zannikos was thoroughly professional, explained my urgent microdiscectomy procedure, why it was necessary ("footdrop"), what to expect and explained any potential future complications. Was willing to add my surgery to an already busy day for him. Staff members were professional with a caring attitude. Overall great experience at a bad time.
