Dr. Rockett repaired the rotator cuff in my left shoulder which was torn in a bad fall three months earlier. During the surgery, Dr. Rockett discovered torn cartilege and a bone spur which he also repaired. Four months after the surgery, the results have been excellent. I'm still getting PT to strengthen the muscles, and expect to soon be back to doing regular push-ups. The three months of elapsed time between the injury and the surgery occurred because the emergency room doctor and later my PCP told me that the shoulder wou... read more

I was having severe difficulty using my right hand with weakness and numbness. I did go to Dr. Zannikos for a consultation. He saw my MRI and EMG, as well as xrays I had in his clinic. He reviewed all the testing with me and explained to me what is going on as well as what my surgical options were. He addressed my concerns about surgery. He recommended a C5-6 cervical disc replacement as the least invasive procedure likely to succeed. I am now 3 months after surgery and I no longer have any pain and most importantly my hand ... read more

I would highly recommend Dr. Zannikos. He spent a significant amount of time explaining what was happening to my neck, and going over the options available to me. My wife and I even made a second appointment to come back and go over everything again. I feel that he is very genuine and truly cares for his patients and their well being. I felt very comfortable going into surgery because of his explanations, sympathy and confidence he showed. ACDF surgery was a success and pain quickly improved. The hospital facility I stayed i... read more

I went to Dr. Zannikos for horrible pain in my arm down to my fingers. I found him to be kind and caring, and he explained the options for me. We started with therapy and medications initially as I wanted to try non surgical options first. In the six months I was treated prior to surgery, I never felt pressured to have surgery. He and his staff answered all questions and offered encouragement along the way. Eventually we agreed that surgery was needed. I came through my ACDF surgery with little pain, no nausea and no side ef... read more

Very happy with the surgical results for my herniated disc. The nerve pain was unbearable prior to surgery and it has thankfully resolved. I can't say thank-you enough to Dr. Zannikos for helping me get back to my life and work.

After more than a year of leg fatigue and back pain which did not respond to physical therapy I was referred to Dr. Zannikos by my primary care physician. After an initial consultation he suspected i had spinal stenosis and this was confirmed with MRI. We decided to try steroid injections with Dr. Sullivan first which unfortunately did not provide relief for more than a couple of weeks. We finally scheduled a laminectomy. Dr. Zannikos was very professional and reassuring every step of the way. Several weeks after the surgery... read more

I literally can not say enough good things about Dr. Zannikos on so many levels. First and foremost he is an AMAZING surgeon and was able to revise a non union of a previous fusion I had 3 years ago. He was able to do that via a minimally invasive "lateral" fusion. What I appreciated the most, is his kind bedside manor and his ability to communicate so everything is understood. I've never seen another doctor who truly cares like Dr. Zannikos The world needs more doctors like him.

Dr. Zannikos did a wonderful job on my L4-S1 TLIF fusion. I am diabetic, which was concerning, but I healed well with no infection. I believe that is due to his small minimally invasive incisions. He is very attentive and concerned about the needs of his patients. Dr. Zannikos is an expert when performing lumbar spinal fusions. I got through mine with no bad side effects and significant improvement in my pain. A Grateful Patient
