Dr. Zannikos is very upfront and has always been very straightforward with me about my spinal problems and his care before and after surgery. He does not push you to make your choices the choice is yours if you want the surgery or not. He explains everything in very simple easy to understand terms.
Dr Zannikos was recommended to me by one of my neighbors who was suffering with similar back and leg pain as I was and had great relief of pain after surgery. he convinced me to see him and I immediately I felt comfortable with him and his calming demeanor. All my questions were patiently answered and after years of physical therapy and injections I finally decided to go ahead with a lateral fusion and screws. I am almost 9 months from surgery and I feel the best I have in years. Very grateful!

Very personable and caring doctor and the office staff is also very friendly. I am very pleased with the preparation and explanation prior to my surgery. After surgery it was easy to get a hold of him and the office for any questions, and I had many! I am glad I finally went ahead with surgery and even more so that I chose Dr. Zannikos. Dr. Zannikos is awesome. I have many spine issues including cervical, thoracic and Lumbar. I've seen other spine doctors and had prior Lumbar surgery before seeing him. Dr. Zannikos takes his time, explains everything in detail, has a great personality and steady hands. He performed a 4 level ACDF in my neck that was a great success. I love this guy, he's an outstanding surgeon and would highly recommend him to anyone. On top of that everyone in that office has been a pleasure to deal with.
I would happily recommend Dr. Zannikos to any friend or family that needs help to deal with any painful spine, neck, or back issues.
I was very hesitant about having surgery mostly because of anxiety. Dr. Zannikos talked very patiently to me, explained the procedure to me and that helped calm me down and make me feel confident that his procedure would help my pain. I recently saw him for my six month appointment and I am happy to report I am pain free!
Dr. Z performed surgery on my lower back to repair a ruptured disk that had kept me in agony for 11 months. The result was amazing. 7 months post surgery, I have no pain, only occasional aches, and I am able to play with the kids and dogs again.
I had an excellent all around experience before and after my back surgery. I would highly recommend, and I already have to many friends, without any hesitation. He is very easy to contact which helps with any doubts or questions that come up.
