I went to see Dr Zannikos due to my diagnoses of lumbar stenosis & spondylolisthesis (L4& L5), I felt immediately comfortable with his professional bedside manner with patients and his ability to relate to them. Very happy with the surgical results for my herniated disc. The nerve pain was unbearable prior to surgery and thankfully this is no longer happening. I can't say thank-you enough.
I am an active 78 year old and during 2020-2021 Dr. Zannikos performed two complex surgeries on my cervical and lumbar spine. In both cases I am very pleased with the final results. The recovery has been rapid and I am relieved of all pain, stiffness and soreness. It has truly been a very positive experience
Super doctor who looks at you as a whole, not just a "spine problem". He specializes in spine surgery but he helped me manage several other issues as well. He made neck and back surgery as easy as possible, with very easy recovery. He also oversaw my hip replacement by ordering my hip xrays and arranging follow up with Dr. Shah who eventually did my hip replacement. I had an unusual fall in early January 2021 that ruptured my quadricep tendon. I contacted Dr. Rockett, was seen the next day and had MRI to confirm. The following day, my wife and I had a Facetime call to talk about the surgery and what to expect. Dr. Rockett answered all questions and concerns and spent a good amount of time with us. Dr Zannikos is a fantastic surgeon. I highly recommend him. 4 stars due to His office staff. Very disappointing. They don't make you feel at ease like they should. Messages are not passed along in a timely manner to Doctor. If you need a prescription refill, forget it. Would seem everyone is an addict in their minds.
Dr. Zannikos and his staff have always been very professional and helpful on every single of my visits and phone calls. My surgery went very well thanks to the excellent surgery he did on my disc at L5-S1. Recovery was as he explained to me before surgery. I am grateful to him for the pain relief and I highly recommend him to anyone that needs disc surgery. cindy
