Dr. Thompson was highly recommended by someone he had performed a reverse shoulder replacement. Got a quick referral & am so thankful. He answered all my questions, instilled confidence that the procedure will go smoothly & my recovery easier than my rotator cuff surgeries. The employees of TOI who checked me in, got me to x-ray & into an exam room were very efficient & kind.
He did a great job of replacing my shoulder and is checking to see how my PT is progressing. If I overdo things, he is very patient with me and explains that I cannot do things like I used to do. He is determined that I should be able to use my arm as close to pre- injury as possible.
Dr. Thompson did surgery on both of my hands 8 years ago. He is a wonderful person and practitioner.
Saw Dr. Thompson for my shoulder pain and couldn't be happier. Everything was quick and efficient. And the injection into the shoulder is already helping.
Dr Thompson and his staff always explain everything in language that is easy to understand regarding diagnosis, procedure(s) recommended, etc.
Dr Thompson very good at his job overall surgery center and Dr Thompson did very well with my surgery

Commended me for having all my information organized. Gave me the assessment from my MRI, although it wasn’t the same as my PCP, he explained my issues very well. Answered all my questions and told me what I could do and when I should follow up.
I have been with Dr. Thompson for many years and this was the first visit he seemed rushed and did not have time to discuss my issues. He has always been a very caring doctor until this visit.
