We have been in our Divvy home for 6 months now. I will say the actual buying process was ok and went somewhat smoothly. After we have moved in and they've collected our rent for the last 6 months not so much! First off they do a home inspection and create a list of items that are supposed to be completed within 3 weeks of you moving in. After 5 months none of the move in repairs had been completed in our home. I am so upset with this company!!! My heart is broken!! My wife and I mothers of a nine year old daughter who has special needs we have struggled thru alot of things in life but Divvy takes the cake! You pick the house, negotiate the deal via real estate agent and sign a lease with purchase option. We chose Divvy September of 2020 due to concerns about a potential housing market correction. Just another company that has ads that give hope. Deny someone. Then tells them they are not good enough even though they meet income and kicks someone who only had problems when covid was happening.
I heard this company on the radio and it sounded a little to good. Being the station it was on had me wondering about the audience they were targeting. I get to BBB because ive always trusted , and for many years. The reviews terrified me. No way I'm taking a chance.
Divvy is a great way to get into the house that you want to buy immediately and then buy it when you are ready. It's a modern day rent to own.
