Over the past 3-4 weeks I have been calling dish to have my Dish relocated. When I moved in to my house I asked the dishes to be placed on the ground the tech said the signal is better on the roof. turns out the putting dishes on your roof voids the warranty. I just paid 12,000 to have roof redone. Now I cant get dish to come relocate the dish. I have had 4 appointments rescheduled. i'm not sure which location this guy was from, but i ended up with hard inquire on my credit report. they never had my permission to do this as i am a satisfied DISH customer, and told this jerk that. this lowered my much damaged credit report 3 points. i'm trying to get this right, i called them and said it was a scam, but the inquiry came directly from direct tv. the guy said he was from dish, but couldn't lower price there, he still had no authorization do a credit run on me .

I was a dish customer for 7 years I moved and tranfired my servise and now that I cansled dish they are saying I'm under a 2 year contract I never aggred too

I signed a 2 year agreement, which was the worst mistake. The receivers are horrible, I had a Dish Hopper installed, service for 5 tvs, and the main hopper had issues every single day. All my tvs were out of service due to the main hopper. I had 4 technicians come to my house and none could resolve the problem. I got the receiver replaced 4 times with refurbished receivers that were faulty. I called Dish Network a few weeks ago to book internet service. The guy told me that I would get 250 mbps. I asked him to verify that because it sounded unreal. He said it was in fact 250 mbps. The tech came out Saturday and tried to install it. He said he was unable to get a signal and that I was in fact only getting 25 mbps. I had Dish for 10+ years and was a happy customer. However we weren't using the service much so I called to cancel it. Let my self be talked into suspending it instead. Nine months later I found the email stating the suspension would end in my spam folder. Service was on 10-14 days. Receivers were unhooked under a bed. The fact that I did not access their service did not matter to them. I was billed for a full month. I had to pay them $114 for a technicality, not any service rendered. At the beginning of May I had to have a major surgery so I had many movies DVR'ed to pass my down time. The night of my surgery my Hopper died and I lost all my recordings. We called Dish and they sent a replacement receiver. We installed the 2 receiver and had nothing but issues. TV's locked up no picture but had sound or no sound and had picture. I made a payment agreement with Dish Network. They drafted all of the payments out of my account. They drafted $50.00 each month and the final payment of $33.00 was also drafted. This took place back in December 2016. I got home today and I had a collection notice from AFNI Collection Agency. The bill is for $16.00. Are you kidding me? I will never do business with Dish Network ever again. Why would you send someone a for $16 bill when they drafted all of the other payments. I would not recommend anyone to them.

I am disgusted with DISH network. They advertise FREE installation, but do not disclose that if you cancel, you are subject to early termination fees (to cover the installation). I was told that my two-year "commitment" only locked me into my monthly price for service. I even called a few months ago to change my programming and asked then if I could cancel at any time and was told I could.
