Dish Network website will compare their service with another major satellite provider. It will then reflect "What you get" when switching... this includes a Hopper 3. Another "special" reflects getting a Hopper 3 with no upfront fee's... Only latter do you find out what an upgrade to this will cost based on your credit qualification. They don't get a score, just a "rating" which you've no idea what it is. We have been a Dish customer for 11 years. On Wednesday evening our satellite stopped working and we kept getting a message "no signal". On Thursday morning (bright and early) I called Dish and the nice customer service lady walked me through the reboot process. Still no signal and it was determined it was something with THEIR equipment. We scheduled a tech to come out on Friday between 8-10 am. Absolutely the worst customer service ever!! Everyone is rude, discourteous, extremely lacking any knowledge in any type of problem solving skills. Not to mention the wait times to speak with anyone is ridiculously long. They are absolutely frustrating and irritating. If you have a choice in cable carriers or can just use online/apps, etc, spare yourself the hassle. This company is a joke!

Dish forged my name on a Service Contract locking me in to an early cancellation fee and another 2 year contract after 7 years of service just because I asked for an HD box for a new TV in my home. The service rep had me sign the hand held device they use to prove he installed the new box. IN NO WAY DID I SIGN ANOTHER SERVICE AGREEMENT NOR DID THE REP TELL ME TO READ ANYTHING ON HIS HAND HELD DEVICE. I removed the early termination fee of $380.00 from your account, as well as two $12.00 equipment return fees. Once the service balance of $115.44 is paid, I will request that any information reported to the credit bureaus be removed.
I had Dish Network in August, 2010. I recently received a notification (in 2017) that there was a hit on my credit. They came back saying that there was a past due payment from 7 years ago, and they were now deciding to come after it including filing a collection that will show up on my credit report. I simply paid the fee. Not once did they contact me before this. In addition, they forwarded me to a credit agency that would not return phone calls to explain everything (Their first step was to go after your credit).

I spoke with a representative named "Jasmine" she was not helpful at all and DISH has turn to be the worst SATELITE COMPANY i have ever experience. I had DISh for the past 10 years and they were not helpful at all when i wanted to paused my service due to moving out of state. I

Dish TV network can not hit homes in the area. They constantly hit my house for XYZ games and all night long broadcasting thinking that I am one of their users. **** poor location and **** poor customer service.

Dish Network - One more time with the misdirection and unexpected charges. After being told that upgrading my dish equipment last year would not result in an extended contract, I was charged $100 when I moved and canceled service. Perhaps this is the way all satellite services do business. Well not with me anymore.

When we spoke today, I informed you that our records reveal that you enrolled in the DISH’n It Up equipment upgrade with a 24-month commitment on January 2, 2016. Because the service was disconnected prior to the promotional fulfillment date, you were billed $100.00 for an early termination fee. This fee was paid and, as of August 21, 2017, your DISH Network account is at a zero balance.
I just noticed that my monthly DISH bill jumped by ~$8 and went back through several months to find out why - and discovered that starting in May I started paying $8 a month for a "Protection Plan" add-on. Needless to say I never ordered this. After an online chat with DISH customer service they agreed to remove this from my bill and refund me the 4 months I had paid for (after trying hard to sell me on the benefits). VERY disappointing that DISH tries to do things like this...
