So, today I am entering a disagreement with Dish Network- my ??quick timeline. 1) 12/19/17-Ordered product- and was informed we had a 30-day cancellation period!! 2) 12/19/17-Paid $54.62 for a new upgraded top set box (Hopper 3)….which arrived used. 3) 12/22/17-Product installed. 4) 12/22/17-paid another $32.76 for a surge protector…which is really just an extension cord & “not really needed” ho hum-must be a profit center 5) 12/24/17-got payment request for 5 days after install $136.94 – payment due 1/6/18. 6) Didn’t reall... read more

When I spoke with you by telephone today, I advised you that you agreed to 24 months of DISH Network TV service. I had scheduled an appointment to have Dish installed on January 18 between 8-12. I told the representative that I had a doctor's appointment in Austin at 2:15 and they need to get here early. She said she made the note that I needed to be in Austin at 2:15. I got an email and text saying the tech would be arriving between 12:45 and 2 outside of the 8-12 timeframe. I have been a subscriber to **** Network for many years. More often than not I find the customer service representatives to give out misleading information. Whenever I call back to correct the billing I am given the run around where they inform me things like "We don't offer that plan" or "That plan is no longer available". As a "valued" customer I was told that I could get *** free for 6 months. I explained that I was on the *** FOR LIFE plan ($!0/Mo) and did not want to lose it. I became a customer of Dish Network about two years ago, at the time ATT took over Direct TV and they had a lot of billing errors etc. so we tried Dish. What Nightmare, we always paid our bill on-time before the due date and my sisters REMOTE CONTROL went dead. A couple of months go by and they failed to replace it with the same type working remote which rendered the service useless. Even if you are desperate for internet DON"T GET SUCKED INTO THIS SERVICE!!! It is a rip off!! You pay through the nose and don't get what they tell you you will get. Then when you complain they tell you they will adjust the bill, they don't. I am not one to usually waste my time writing reviews, but this service is so bad I had to do it. They will require 2 year contract and once it is up they slow it down and tell you they have a better service for a little more money. SCAM!!

We have only been with this company a couple of weeks and it is sad. The audio and video are off by more than a second. Had more fun watching Firestick. Would not refer this company.

Dish does not want you to terminate service with them. They will charge you for service they didn't provide by convincing you to suspend service instead of disconnecting it. On Sept 6, 2017, I paid my bill for service covering Sept 1 to Oct 2. On Sept 19 2017, I called to disconnect my service. This was more than 2weeks before my next month's payment was due so I wouldn't incur charges. Dish TV provides good TV service BUT they are completely unprofessional in their billing. Do NOT use Auto Pay. When/if there is a problem with a bill they WILL NOT work with you and will keep your money. DO NOT Suspend your account! Cancel your account. They will charge for the privilege of suspending your account.

They cancelled my service, restarted it and charged me without my notification. When i contacted them within minutes of this change, I was denied a refund and was denied Corporate information from a Supervisor. The customer service was horrible as well as the service it self.
