After cancelling my account, I received the final bill. On this bill it said that auto debit had been declines which I thought was because I had cancelled my service so I went to the site to manually pay the bill. After I paid the bill manually on the site, I get a text message saying that they were auto debiting my bank account immediately. I was given a referral code from a friend to start a new acct at dish and in turn I'd get $5 a mo for 10 months along with my friend. After not seeing the amount decrease on my 2nd bill I called to see why it hadn't been taken off. Apparently their sales person who set up my acct didn't note the code and because I never got a bill until 15 days after install that I was magically supposed to know they didn't put a code into my acct and therefore I was out of luck and my friend is too. You said that you did not receive the Refer-A-Friend referral credit offered to you during your sale. When we spoke, I informed you that I applied a monthly $5.00 credit for ten months to both accounts. We sincerely regret any inconvenience this issue may have caused.
I realized my contract had ended and my monthly cost had increased. I called Customer Service to see what they could do. I was thoroughly impressed. The agent was super polite, very understanding and was able to reduce my bill.
The only news network given is 2 fake news CNN channels so that conservatives have no choice but pay an extra $10 a month to get anything else is detrimental to our country. If I had been told before this mornings installation I could have chosen a different tv provider. I feel they are working against the average man to ensure the powers that be (aka the swamp) stay in control. Dish satellite went out during a thunderstorm, they would come in 3 days if we upgraded, we decided not to upgrade so they cancelled our appointment to fix it. So now we have to wait a week to get our system fixed.

Dish added items to my account without my permission just happened to find it on my account. Dish also sent a technician to service my equipment at no cost but charged my account credit card $40 for a service I didn’t ask for and was not told i was getting and for equipment i did not receive. Just wonder how often this happens. They think our accounts and credit cards are open accounts for them to dip into as they please. But what do you do they are all crooks and our government lets it happen.

Our records reveal that you spoke with a DISH Network supervisor on May 16, 2018, regarding a missed installation. The appointment was rescheduled for May 19, 2018; however, on this date, the technician called in, as you had requested your service be canceled because you have another TV provider. I apologize for any inconvenience you experienced.
I have used dish for 35 years on and off. For a year now, we have had our service on "vacation mode" paying $5.33 a month because we couldn't afford the HIGH cancellation of the contract. I called today to cancel it, pay it off, have them send a box so I could return the equipment. Was told I had to pay $15 per box to ship it back to them PLUS the $360, PLUS an extra $1.40 (for what, who knows). It has been my experience that Dish TV is not a Honest Company to deal with. I was promised that when I signed up I would receive HBO for one year but started getting billed after 6 months after phone calls I resolved it but only for 3 more months and which I started getting bills again. This time it took 1 hour or more to resolve the issue. I was promised in the beginning I would not have this problem.
