When I cancelled the service, I was informed the equipment had been rented from them & they would send a "return kit". It took 2 weeks to receive the so-called kit and in the instructions it said that part of the equipment is on the roof. I called & explained to the agent, Kevin that we are physically unable to climb on the roof to which he said he could waive the return of that part. When ordering asked for internet TV bundle. Was lead to believe that I was going to receive the bundle package. Find out after TV installation (wasn't informed that there would be two different installations needed), LOTS of calls (repeating myself) and agents later that internet is not available in my area. Tried to cancel account but they told me that I signed a contract. Informed them that no, I signed up for the bundle not just tv. You said that you were led to believe that you would receive internet service as well as TV service. When we spoke, I advised you that a review of your sales call revealed that internet service was not offered. Dish Networks provides a service to freeze your account. What they fail to follow up on is that they automatically reinstate your service after the time period. Dish charged me for 2 months of service ($230) that I did not use and then told me I also had to pay the early termination fee for the contract which was $260. They did not notify me that they were charging my account for the months of service, and continued to charge me for the second month despite their failed attempted to draw from my bank account (over drafted). ... read more

I became a Dish customer 4 years ago. I am currently a customer, I have a prepaid account, everything I do must be paid before service Is rendered. So movies, adding other service is paid up front. Mind you, when I started with them, I was not told it was prepaid until they advise me my credit score dictated I was eligible for this type of account, but was still in a contract. Hmmm, but okay. I had just disconnect my Dish Network and was told i would get a credit of $111.79. instead of getting the full amount, I only got $80.79. when I called them I was told that they took out $31.00 to pay for return equipment boxes. At no time did I get told they were going to do this. All so I found out after your 2 year contract they up the price on people who stay with them.. just a warning!! Do not trust Dish Network, they will lie to you Everytime.

I cancelled my dish service because the gentleman that called and talked me into taking it lied about how much it was going to cost. The first woman I talked to got very ill with me. I had transferred back to Spectrum because they gave me a better price. I paid my early termination fee but they still won't send me a receipt showing the early termination fee. Now I can't get reeminbursed for my $389. I will never encourage someone to receive DISH services.

Complete refusal to help in any way to safely dispose or recycle their equipment placed on residential property.

Once the satellite dish is installed, it become the property of the customer and we do not require it to be returned. You may contact your local recycling center or waste department for proper disposal methods.

We have had dish for a short time now and honestly don't watch it very much but when we do, we like to enjoy a clear picture. The picture quality is TERRIBLE especially when watching sports. The players look very blurry and it's terrible to watch, you can't even make out who they're. We called several times to complain but just kept dismissing it because we didn't have the time to sit on the phone for an hr for them to say nothing is wrong. Dish i have been a loyal customer for so much years but your customer serice today has been unacepable. My mom has waited for two months for a techician appointment to come to her house she was given a date Febuary 22, 2018 the techincian called her said he is on his way and never showed up.
