It is impossible to get in contact with customer service. I just want to cancel and i have more than a week waiting to speak with customer service for more than 2 hours every day, and is been impossible

Periodically, DISH Network and its channel owners must negotiate deals so that we may continue to offer high-quality content at a fair value. Dish Network is avoiding taking calls to address customers who which to discontinue or remove service. Customers must wait long queue lines to "speak" to someone. They will not allow this through chat or online process. The long queues have customers on hold for 30 minutes or longer. Unlike advertised, it is not a good customer experience with Dish Network. I am a current customer and reporting my experience regarding 2 calls in 2018.

You said you attempted to contact DISH Network to disconnect your service but there was a long wait to speak with someone. When I spoke with you today, I confirmed that you were able to successfully cancel your DISH Network account. We regret the amount of time it took for you to talk to someone. Lied to at all levels. Signed a new contract and now they won't let us cancel when we were lied to get us to commit. Said they would restore our old package at the old price and lied to again. Their business must really be hurting when they have to screw loyal customers. Funny thing is we were going to switch to Direct TV for a lower price but wanted to be loyal to Dish. Recommend to family and friends but no more. Would give a 0 if I could.

Mr. Ramsey applied a one-time $12.97 credit and a monthly $10.00 adjustment to your account for 24 months. I have had Dish for almost 2 years. I have had to have the receiver replaced twice in this time. I have disruption of service on a very regular basis, which causes interruption of programs. Many of these programs are recorded because of my work hours. In turn the program does not record as it should. The first receiver replacement wasn't an issue. I wanted to cancel service with Dish Network and was placed on hold to get to a "cancellation department" even though I told them I do not want anyone trying to talk me out of cancellation. After 8 minutes on hold for the cancellation department, they call was disconnected. I called back again and said that I wanted to cancel and do not want the cancellation department. New customers of Dish AND ALREADY FALSE ADVERTISMENT. We signed up at the OC Fair recently and the rep told us we would get 3 mos. FREE: HBO, Cinemax, Showtime and STARZ and received it in writing and is considered legal contract!! They did not want to see it!! My husband could not get HBO so he called customer service and spoke with them that we could not get HBO why?? and their response we do not offer FREE HBO what else would you like and refuse to give FREE HBO. WHAT A RIPE OFF!

Received a phone call from Dish stating that they were to install Dish tv at my home on Fri. 7-13-18 , they left message saying I ordered their service and if it was wrong call ( 800 -333-347 ) which is missing a number and asked for a 4 digit code to cancel. Tech called me Sat. and I told I did not order and said that if I did not call they would charge me for Dish service. My joey was installed and the technician said my TV was too old and for the Joey to work and I would need a newer television. So when I could I bought the newer and TV and the service still doesn't work. I feel I should be compensated for the service I was paying for but unable to watch. I find it unacceptable that I have been paying for a service for 3 months now that was not installed properly and now that I am trying to get it fixed because of an improperly trained technician its created a new problem. we called Dish network for service, on the Phone we where told all kinds of Lies. we where told if we did not like it we could cancel within 30 days, not true, we where told free installation, not true, it cost us $49.00, we where told we could upgrade to the bigger Hopper for $50.00 and pay the $100.00 later, not true, we where told that there was a tech support available for $12.99, I told them 3 times I don't want it, they signed me up anyway, then informed me I contracted this with an outside Vendor, also not true, they ... read more
