I have had issues with Dish off and on but this has done it. Im tired of them lying and not providing service and then they want to charge you because you want to break the contract. For over 2 days we had no service at all. We kept calling and they said it was weather related. Now mind you we are well aware that the signal goes in and out with bad weather but we are talking no signal at all. So i went to asking neighbors and others that had dish near us. A 24-month commitment was added to your account on August 3, 2018, when your equipment was upgraded through our DISH’n It Up promotion. Therefore, an early termination will apply if your service is canceled for any reason. Our records confirm that the technician visit fee of $95.00 was waived. I called dish network to cancel service on 12/30/17. I was advised that I should put my account "on hold" in case I ever changed my mind and wanted to come back. I advised I just wanted to cancel and get my pro rated refund for the rest of the billing cycle. The guy told me I would still get my money back it would only make it easier if I ever wanted to reactivate my account. He assured me it wouldn't cost me anything. I signed up with DISH a year ago for satellite internet and television services. We literally could not even use the internet at all in our home and have been using our cell phone service instead while paying for satellite internet, as well as comparing prices for these services, I finally decided to cancel. Little did I know, that even though I signed up for these services at the same time, they put me under two separate contracts so by cancelling my service one year early I am being charged $500. I called to make changes that would reduce my bill by $100 and prorate the previous month's bill. Two weeks later I recieved my bill with no changes made. I called and they said they have no record of the changes made. So I made the changes again. Still they were unable to provide me with an order number or confirmation number of any kind. I am so frustrated with their customer service and charging me for programming after it was cancelled. They offered no apologies .

The cable goes out when its drizzling rain. When it pours rain it works fine. Sitting here waiting for dish to open box not working ad usual and if they make me wait days for a appointment I am changing companies.

I cancelled my services and I have a final bill they keep calling me about. I have told them more then once what day I am going to pay it. They say ok and will put a note on my account that is not even in collection. They call me everyday sometimes 4 times a day. They are trying to get me to come back to them and are warning me about the company I decided to change to. I would not go back to Dish Network for a million bucks. just got service from dish on 14 of jan 2018 and talk to amy , mario matt and ashly first day regarding billing issue . talk to neslon on 20 of jan billing issue talk to mike and tom jan 26 2018 billing issue . nothing got resolved . costumer service no experience at all how to handle it none of there stories match every one has there own opinion , cant hears the recorded calls , what the point to record calls when u can retrieve and find out truth

They are the most unorganized and dishonest business I have ever dealt with. WARNING they will tell you you have been upgraded when your Dish DVR wears out. Instead of replacing the DVR they will call it an upgrade and sneak in another two year contract. I have been with them 14 years, but now I'm done with their shady business practices.
