I thought Dish had the best customer service until 08/2016.. We had to discontinue Dish at our house due to septic tank problems and condemned by the city. So we had to move asap but was harder due to the fact we had a dog and cat. When we moved to a duplex the owner didn't want dish or anything else other than cable. I called the technical support for my remote #2 because the TV stop working. The technical had me running up and down stairs saying the dish box need to be reset. I advised to her that I have tried everything and the remote is not connecting but she still had me to go over and over up and down just to fine out the remote is not work. I am very dissatisfied with Dish. I terminated my service with them. Returned their receivers. I found out they will not remove their satellite dish from the roof. If I want it removed, Dish gave me a number to call (one of their representatives) to remove it. It will cost me $125.00 to do this. This is not very good customer service. Will NEVER do business with them again or recommend their services to anyone.

Called to get service. Got transferred 4x's. I asked one rep not to transfer me but still did. Got fed up and hung up. Not doing business with them again. Funny thing is overall dish rating is A- but customer reviews are 7 positive, 6 neutral and 317 (318 with mine) negative and its still an A- score. Hilarious.

I contacted Dish to inquire why a baseball game I was watching on TBS on 10/12/2017 was cut off before the game ended. Was asked if i called at the time and told them yes there was a approximately a 40 minute wait so I never waited. They asked me if TBS was working now and I said it was and that was basically their solution. So my family and I moved to Florida and were hit by irma witch exuasted all our bill money to prepare and survive the storm! We were told we would have not a problem extending this payment til October 19th we just had to call in every two weeks so we did and they said that they wouldn't exstend til the 19th all the sudden when we called in this last time! I called to disconnect the service and the customer service person would not disconnect the service until I had spent 40 minutes on the phone telling him that I wanted to disconnect the service repeatedly. Isn't there a limit to the number of times you have to tell a company that you do not want their service before they have to listen and do as you ask. Very deceptive billing practices. They offered me a discount to keep me as a customer with "no obligation, no contract." Then when I cancelled 2 months later they back charged me for the discount.

Hello, my name is Eric Ive had dish service for not even a month yet and already seeing the bait and switch and lieing tactics they use to get you to sign up for Dish TV. When I contacted dish the first thing out of the ladies mouth was how may I be of service to you. It should have been how may I screw your day up.
