I have been with dish for 4 months, I am not happy because I was sold in from AT&T, the package I realized was different and when i called dish to upgrade my package at least to what i had with AT&T it was twice the amount that I paid when I was with AT&T , not only that but they want me to enter a new contract with them, though I have an existing contract with them. Dish Network is rude and unprofessional. Received a call from an employee who identified herself as Jeri who was nothing but argumentative and full of excuses. I was duped into allowing this disgraceful company into running my credit just to have them try to stick me with excessive fees. Former customer and they will never get my business again.
I have an neighbor that has obtained an illegal dish net antenna and black box and they have the ability to interfere with my dish TV and I am harassed by them daily they want me to go some were else so they can have dish TV for the rest of there life for free. Our receiver just stopped working on our primary TV, and dish network didn't send a representative with a new one, instead they sent us a new receiver through UPS and charged us for the shipping costs. The representative would have cost us $95! This isn't our property as we have to send the broken one back, it's their's! The unit was still under their "grace period", otherwise we would have had to pay for the new receiver as well. To me, we pay for their service, and their equipment failed. In August I had dish installed The dish was not properly installed. cable was run like there was a finite remaining on the planet and if they could of stretched it they would have. The dish and all the other equipment was not properly grounded; actually it was not grounded at all. the cable was run through an outside wall improperly with no drip loop. at sealed. I originally called because my hopper stopped working, it would not turn on in the morning. After unplugging and pressing the red reset button it finally came on. None of the joeys in the house would connect to the hopper now, the tv channels would take up to 3+ minutes to change(we timed it). You could not connect to the dvr or the search it would never find them. I was told to "update" my interface that will fix the issue. I've been a Dish customer since 8/19/15 and have been happy with your service until recently. I went to trim some bushes on the side of my house and something caught my eye. The cable box was wide open with all of the cables/connectors hanging out in the weather. The cable box was left by our previous provider and was too small for all of the new Dish components. Over charged on initial installation then discontinued service when I demanded the overcharge returned.
Dish came and up graded my package without my permission or knowledge and charged me for it. when called they never answered why or put right
