The companies business process does not allow a consumer to contact or discuss a credit refund for a system late fee charge incurred from an auto-pay failure on the Dish automated system. This is the 2nd occurrence of an issue with Dish's auto-pay system per a previous discussion with a technician from Dish that stated that there was no reason the credit card the 1st time should have failed stating declined. It was aweful! I called Dish today 5/26/2017 and told the guy I was going to be out of a job soon and there needed to cancel my service. I immediately said fine you will be charged an early cancel fee of $240. and you can't cancel. I replied please cancel please or we can go to court. He then transfers me to another Rep who apparently and actual do take care of the cancellation. So, I'm really mad at this point. i was a Dish customer probably 7-8 years ago. When I cancelled my service, they refused to take down the satellite dish that was on my roof. They said they don't do that. So it stayed. I just had a roofer come to my house and the dish was apparently not installed correctly. Now it is just hanging up there, and it has pulled a hole in my roof. I have a leak and Dish refuses to help me with the repairs.
I have been calling to request statements on a closed account since Dec 2016. I received 2012, 2013 and 2016, however, I can not seem to get their customer service "back office" to send me 2014 and 2015. Again, I have called no less than 17 times. Iv had a very bad experience with dish network. They treat their costumers very poorly. They're employees are very rude, and they are also not true to their word. I have had dish service since 2011. It has been nothing but hassle. They were allowing my ex to keep getting into my account. Whom kept intturpting my services. That went on everyday for a whole month. My so called locked in price kept going up. They made me sign new contracts to get dvr services. I could go on and on. Always giving new customers deals but crapping... read more
Very disappointed with DISH Network. Brand new house, had DISH installed, in just under 8 months, suddenly, all the service goes out in the entire house. We check the satellite dish, and everything looks absolutely perfect. We call DISH only to find that WE have to pay to have them come out and fix THEIR equipment!!!! Are you kidding me??? How ridiculous is that? Someone at the company could've thrown a switch so they can make extra money sending someone out to "fix" it. I recently signed up for a new service from Dish network. The website told me all about the new Hopper3 with 16 tuners. I chatted with a rep online and ordered new service. When the technician came I received the the old dish hopper system with only 3 tuners. I called to complain and was told there would be a 150 dollar fee for the new hopper. In January our DishNetwork Receiver DVD stopped working, we then went on Ebay and bought a new one. I was pretty sure we owned the old one but when we called to have the new on activated they asked us to return the old one because it was leased. I couldn't find proof of purchase because it was from 8 years ago so I sent the receiver back, it was broken anyways. I live in Albuquerque, NM. Dish removed the ABC (channel 7) without any notice to customers or plans for replacement. I could not watch the NBA, the bachelor, Ellen, the Steve Harvey show or any of my other favorite programs on ABC for about three months.When I could not take it any more, I cancelled my service.
