I have been a Dish customer for a little over 3 months now, and already there has been multiple mistakes with the most recent being the worst! I entered into a contact with Dish on or around November 3, 2018 first payment was made November 8, 2018. I ask that my billing date be changed to end of month because of my pay. I am on a fixed income. I looked my bill up and there was not only a month but it was prorated to start my billing cycle the 28th of each month. I had been a customer with Dish Network for 11 years, I have only had good things to say about them to anyone who would listen. I have not been under a contract for two years, but had received a discount on my bill for the last two. I am elderly and live on a fixed income. Dish Network has the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! They do not hold their drivers accountable. Their only solution is for you to call 911 when their drivers almost cause an accident. I am pregnant and driving on the interstate to get to work. Their driver got in the right lane and I was in the second to right lane. He decided at the last minute that he was in the wrong lane. If I can give 0 stars, I would. Since day 1, my cable tv receiver has been slow to react to the remote. I've called numerous times and their customer service has not been able to assist in a positive way, a single time. Ron S BEWARE terrible customer service been with dish for 17 years my bill was increased from $88 to $119. when my wife called to inquire she was talked into agreeing to a $30 rebate per month-from dish for 1 year with a 1 year commitment I called the next day to cancel the agreement which didn’t take effect yet as you pay a month in advance. I was charged a $120 cancellation fee very poor business practice would recommend you look elsewhere for service I want to give a no star rating but the system won’t let it

I wish that I could give zero stars with Dish. I called to cancel service as I was able to get a better rate with AT&T. I was told that I would have to pay a fee for cancelling my contract prematurely. I understood that but I did not have the full amount at the time to cancel the service. I was promised goods and services that I did not receive. I was lied to about the fees I would be charged and have received an additional bill for stopping services. The quality of the picture was poor. HBO and Cinemax, channels promised in the Premium package, were not available and had not been for some time. The monthly fee that I agreed to was only introductory. I was told that it would not go up for two years. I was also told that I could stop the service at any time. I asked to renew my subscription with the same price and stated the price on the phone. Dish after changing the price 3 times agreed to give me the service at the same cost. When I received my next bill a month later my cost went up $15. I called and they said I agreed to a package I didn't agree to. The customer service person then told me to file a complaint with the police department so I could receive the phone recording confirming the amount. Horrible service and shady deal.
