We wanted to change our cable service to save some money and thought about DISH since they have cheaper prices, my husband and I spoke with an agent who told us we would be able to watch all the sport channels plus all the Spanish channels such as Univision, since it sounded so good we agreed with the so called "2 year contract". I was cancelling my Dish account and was insulted and then my wife by a Dish associate. She was rude ,loud , obnoxious and would not listen to our demands of simply to stop service no matter what. Then they unfairly charged a $240 disconnect fee on the 2nd receiver we accepted a year ago that was to be a free earned upgrade. I got dish network service about three months ago and now that I need to get in contact with them I’m getting the run around.

Dish tells you a lot of lies, don’t mention that you need WiFi to obtain programming on mobile devices, also they tell you you can put service on vacation then when you reactivate service they charge over double what you were paying. They want your business then they want to stick it to you once you sign on the dotted line. Just a big scam.

Just got off a call with customer service to cancel my subscription. After being on the line with the agent for 10 min he still would not cancel my subscription and would keep trying to sell me on products other try to tell me I had to pay for the lnbs. After constantly him I didn't not want the service or an other products and only wanted to cancel, he continues to try to sell me more products. I have been a Dish Customer for many years. Recently, my husband wanted to switch companies and so had new equipment installed. I am out of my contractual obligation period so I called to close my account. I have never been treated so poorly. First he tried to improve my rate, then he used scare tactics and long periods of awkward silences on the phone to bully me. From the first day they could not get there service to work correctly, 20 months later and still having issues they cant figure out. Multiple phone calls and techs spending hours at our home, receiver in spare bedroom with no tv and a Joey system sending the signal to our main tv and still not working correctly plus our receiver is in a spare bedroom on the floor and we can't understand why it cant be with our main tv. I am not satisfied with the service and obvious lack of customer service when representatives continue to ignore questions and problems and promise to correct them only to find out later that nothing was corrected and the representative says it will be corrected next time, meanwhile payment is still expected...how much did dish pay the government to allow such communistic acts against the American people !!?? Just a curious Veteran !!!

dis h network is a crook . i join with them because in need the internet and the cable so they told me that they could get me internet and cable for the low price of 111 dollar cable will be 71 dollar and the internet would be 29.99 for two year the price will not change so they sublet me out for the internet which was wow which is not a good company charger more than the 29.99 that dish had agree too.and the lied and said that if i join with them they would give me a 100 gift card and a echo dot which i did not received any... read more
